Case Description:
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaoru was a 50-year-old woman from Handan City, Hebei Province. She used to work at the Handan Daily newspaper. In 2001, she was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. On February 27, 2003, while distributing Dafa materials in Puyang City, Henan Province, she was reported to the police, who then arrested her. Within one week, she was tortured to death by the Puyang City Police Department.
