[Beijing] Falun Dafa Flyers Appeared On the Streets of Beijing

Today, a practitioner from Heilongjiang province arrived in Beijing. She brought a very long banner with her and had planed to go to the Tiananmen Square to unfurl the banner right after arrival. However, after she got off the train, she lost contact with other fellow practitioners and therefore could not unfurl that long banner by herself. She then decided to find practitioners from Beijing to exchange experiences. During the discussion, practitioners from Beijing told her a piece of news: many flyers were posted along the streets of Beijing to expose the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. The police felt very nervous about that...

This practitioner felt greatly inspired. She changed her idea and realized that there should be all kinds of different ways to tell people the truth of Falun Gong besides unfurling Falun Dafa banners at the Tiananmen Square. There were over one thousand practitioners in the hometown of this practitioner. Recently, they all realized that they must step forward to prove Falun Dafa and even be prepared to be thrown into jail.

[Beijing] Falun Dafa Radio Was Heard in Beijing

Some practitioners from Beijing could hear the Falun Dafa radio on the first day of its broadcasting. A practitioner from outside Beijing said practitioners in his region felt greatly encouraged upon hearing the news of opening the World Falun Dafa radio.

A practitioner from South China had thought that the Falun Dafa radio could cover the whole China and had been waiting for the program last night.

Starting July 1, the World Falun Dafa radio could be listened to in Middile and Northern China. The program would last one hour from 10pm to 11pm Beijing time at 9.915MHerz.

[Beijing] An Taxicab Helped Promoting Falun Dafa

One day, a few aged women went to visit the Tiananmen Square by sharing one taxicab. They toured around the Tiananmen Square for a few circles and then left. The driver started to drive around alone. In a short while, he found some police trying to catch him and requiring him to stop. The driver felt quite odd but stopped the cab. It turned out that the old women forgot to take off the banner reading "Falun Dafa is good" that hung on the back of the cab when they left.

[Leshan, Sichuan Province] Liu Ying Was Sentenced 3 Years of Imprisonment without Any Legal Proceedings

Ms. Liu Ying, a practitioner from Leshan, who was accused of "having illicit relations with foreign countries and leaking military secrets" by the police, was recently given 3 years of imprisonment without any legal proceedings after being detained for over one year in the Jiajiang Detention Center.

Ms. Cui Xiaoping, a former contact person of Leshan Falun Gong assistance center, got detained on June 27 when she exchanged experience with other practitioners in Chengdu City. Her whereabouts remains unknown afterwards. According to the police, the Sichuan police had long wanted Ms. Cui Xiaoping because she had being going around to promote Falun Dafa. Meanwhile, a practitioner from Chengdu and her mother got illegally detained for 48 hours just because Ms. Cui had stayed one night at her home.

[Sichuan Province] A Mother of A 2-Month-Old Baby Is to Be Sent to Labor Camp

At around 9am of June 30, five police from the Guangrong Residential District Police Station went to the home of Ms. Zhu Xia, who lived at the No.5 Jinrong Street, Building 4, Suite 3-1 of Guangrong District in Chengdu City, and tried to take her away for detention by force, just because that the police believed she was still practicing Falun Gong and might go to Beijing to report the truth of Falun Gong to the government. At the time when this news is posted, the police are still at her home.

The police threatened her that nobody could save her except that she would give up Falun Gong and it was the decision from the upper officials that she would be sent to the labor camp in the mountain.

Ms. Zhu Xia has a baby of less than 2 months old. She still needs to breast-feed her baby. Her husband, Mr. Wang Shilin, is being detained in the Dayan Labor Camp for having gone to Beijing to tell the truth of Falun Gong to the government. Her mother is also being detained for having gone to Beijing to report the truth of Falun Gong to the government. Only her aged father who suffered periodic mental illnesses (caused by the persecution during the Cultural Revolution) stays at home. If Ms. Zhu Xia is taken away, her baby will become an unattended orphan.

Starting June 29, the Chengdu City implemented a new campaign of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. They do not spare any single practitioner, even in cases of Ms. Zhu Xia. We appeal to the kind-hearted people worldwide to give her humanitarian support.

The number of Ms. Zhu Xia is (011-86-28) 764-3584;

The number of the Guangrong Residential District Police Station is (011-86-28) 765-6434
