(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of November 6, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from London and other areas held a candlelight vigil to appeal to bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Zhou Yongkang and Liu Jing to justice. These are the four main criminals responsible for leading the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
When asked why tonight's event was a special one, Edward, a western practitioner from London said, "We heard news that the Chinese Communist Party may be considering lifting the ban on Falun Gong in China, but we wanted to send a clear message that it is not so simple for those who committed serious crimes of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in the last five and a half years. They have been using the whole Chinese political system, education system, mental hospitals etc. and other massive resources to persecute and crush people who want to be good. If they say that they are not banning Falun Gong anymore, that's not enough for what they have done. They must be brought to justice for their serious crimes committed against all the Chinese people and the whole world. It is not that they can get off."
Mr. Baosheng Zhu, the brother of Miss Baolian Zhu who was thrown into a prison illegally for practicing Falun Gong in China, also attended the vigil. Mr. Zhu said, "The persecution of Falun Gong is a persecution of all the Chinese people. It involves tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners' families. It also trampled on traditional Chinese culture. As far as our family is concerned, the persecution received by my sister has harmed us very much. Even when our father passed away she could not go to see him. I could not go back to China to visit my family, either. There are tens of thousands of families like ours. They must compensate Falun Gong practitioners and their families who have been harmed during the persecution. Personally I think that Jiang Zemin used the Chinese Communist Party to persecute Falun Gong. Jiang and the Chinese Communist Party must be held responsible for it."
