The Psychotropic Drugs Forced on Me Didn't Have Any Effect

In July 2000, when I went to Tiananmen Square to validate the Fa for the second time, I was arrested by local police officers at the train station and brought back to my hometown. The next day, I was taken to the local mental hospital to be subjected to persecution. At the mental hospital, I studied the Fa and did the exercises every day. I also helped the housekeeping lady clean the hospital. I clarified the truth and explained the beauty of Dafa to the doctors, nurses, and some of the patients and their family members. I told them how I benefited from Dafa and why the communist regime started the insane persecution of Dafa. I also explained to them why we went to Tiananmen Square to validate the Fa.

While I was detained in the mental hospital, the doctors forced me to take the psychotropic drug “Clozapine.” In order to not accept the persecution, I held the thought that I was eating cabbage instead of taking drugs. Because of that thought, the drugs didn't have any effect on me. One day the doctor in charge and two male nurses violently tied me up on a bed and injected me with a drug called “F.D.,” which damages the central nervous system. I immediately had hand spasms, drooled, lost consciousness, and lost my balance when I tried to walked. My reactive first thought was that these drugs wouldn't work on me. As soon as I thought that, all the symptoms disappeared right away. It is indeed as Master said: “If thoughts are righteous, evil will collapse.” (“What’s to Fear?” in Hong Yin Vol. II )

Maintaining Righteous Thoughts and Actions While Detained in the Army Hospital

In March 2001, because I resisted arrest by the 610 Office, many of my bones were fractured, and my head was cut and seriously bled. Later on, in an attempt to get information from me, the police detained me in the army hospital and sent people to monitor me.

At first they put me in an intensive care unit. They once told a person who practiced another school of qigong to visit me, and this person brought me a cake. When the weather got warmer, they told people to bring some clean clothes for me to wear. I wasn't moved by their false kindnesses. Sometimes after I fell asleep, they sent people into my hospital room to try to identify me, since I did not tell them my name. On one occasion, several plainclothes officers were sent to my room. They pulled off my quilt, held my arms and legs against the bed, and pulled my hair to take a picture of me. I refused to cooperate and closed my eyes and pretended to have a full mouth. In the end, all the other patients and their family members in that room became very angry at their shameful behavior, and the officers had to leave in disgrace.

In the hospital, I insisted on studying the Fa and doing the exercises from morning until evening every day. And I clarified the truth to every person I met there. There were so many people that I could talk to in the hospital, and gradually, they changed. At first, they didn't understand, but after I clarified the truth to them, they began to support me and pay more attention to me. Everyone who understood the truth was very friendly to me. Even someone sent by the 610 Office to monitor me said, “If you don't have any place to go after you leave here, you can go to the countryside to live with my mother.”

In addition, on many occasions the doctors in the hospital didn't let the 610 Office personnel take me away. After three months, an officer from the 610 Office came again and said to me, “You can go wherever you want in the future, we won't monitor you anymore.” It was then that I realized that I needed to leave the hospital. One morning, after the doctor checked the room, a patient's family members and some nurses helped me leave the hospital and get into a taxi.

This time when I was persecuted in the army hospital, I wasn't given drugs or injections or X-rays. I didn't give them any information that the police officers wanted to know. Because of my firm belief in Dafa, ample righteous thoughts, and protection from revered Master, I returned to the current of Fa-rectification.

A True Dafa Disciple Won't Be Detained

In the winter of 2002, when I was telling people about Dafa, another practitioner and I were arrested. As soon as we arrived at the police station, I asked the other practitioner to send forth righteous thoughts so that the police officers would sleep and we could leave the police station that night. Later on, several officers came and we kept clarifying the truth to them. After a while, they separated us and most of them went back to sleep, leaving only two officers taking notes. Except for truth-clarification, I didn't answer any single question they asked. And I also sent forth righteous thoughts so that they would feel sleepy. Very soon, one officer couldn't stay awake and left. I continued sending forth righteous thoughts, and after a while, the other officer also fell asleep on the desk. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts. Seeing him sleeping so soundly, I stood up, quietly moved the sofa they used to block the door, opened the door, and went downstairs.

There was a small security room in front of the exit. There were two layers of doors at the exit: an aluminum door on the outside and double glass doors on the inside. The handles on the glass doors were locked with metal chains. I gently pushed the handles and discovered that, between the two glass doors, there was some space about 4 inches wide. I reached my hand through the doors to push the aluminum door, and it was unlocked. I pushed it up, squeezed through the glass doors and bent down to pass under the aluminum door. I was free again! At that time, I was wearing a cotton-padded jacket, and I wasn't very slim. I normally would not have been able to squeeze through a space that narrow, but on that day, I did so very easily.
