The Family of Practitioner Zhao Chunxia from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Persecuted

February 19, 2013 |   By a Minghui correspondent from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regions, China

(Minghui.org) Ms. Zhao Chunxia is a Falun Gong practitioner from Baarin Left Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Her home has been ransacked and burglarized by the police multiple times. Three members of her family were arrested and detained.

Zhao Chunxia Arrested, Her Husband Forced to Leave Home

On June 4, 2012, Gao Yanguo from the 610 Office in Baarin Left Banner in Chifeng City, Tian Licheng, Li Hongzhu, Gao Shujun, and others from the Domestic Security Division, as well as officers from the Zuoqi Police Department, arrested practitioner Ms. Zhao Chunxia.

The police also attempted to arrest Jia Bin, who is Ms. Zhao's husband, but were not successful since he was not home at the time. He had to leave home for fear of being illegally arrested.

Ms. Zhao's oldest daughter was in college at the time. Her younger daughter was twelve years old, and her son was nine. The children had to be cared for by their grandparents. All of the grandparents were in their seventies. It was very hard for these seniors, who walk very slowly, to walk their grandchildren to school, which is more than a mile away from home. (Ms. Zhao returned home from Zuoqi Detention Station on January 25, 2013)

Ms. Zhao's Older Sister Beaten for Trying to Rescue Her

The children missed their parents. Ms. Zhao Chunxia's older sister, Zhao Fuxia, brought the two younger children to the Baarin Left Banner Procuratorate and the Baarin Left Banner Court, asking for the release of Zhao Chunxia. Personnel at the Baarin Left Banner Court told her to come on Friday. On Friday at about 9:00 a.m. (January 11, 2013), Zhao Fuxia and the two children arrived at the courthouse, but were not allowed to enter. When Zhao Fuxia tried to reason with the gatekeeper, five men came out of the courthouse, and kicked and beat Zhao Fuxia. The children were so scared that they dared not cry or say anything. Zhao Fuxia protested loudly saying, ”Falun Gong is not against the law!” The commotion attracted quite a few onlookers. The perpetrators re-entered the courthouse after they saw many people watching them.

Ms. Zhao Chunxia's Younger Sister Detained for Clarifying the Truth

Ms. Zhao Lichun is Ms. Zhao Chunxia's younger sister. Zhao Lichun and her husband went to the Bayanbaote Market in Shuangsheng Township, Ar Horqin Banner in Chifeng City on January 30, 2013 to buy paper. When Zhao Lichun gave away calendars to clarify the truth, she was reported and arrested by the Shuangsheng police. She is now in the Tianshan Detention Station in Ar Horqin Banner.

Ms. Zhao Chunxia's Husband Facing Trial

Mr. Jia Bin is Ms. Zhao Chunxia's husband. After he had been homeless for more than six months, police in Aohan Banner in Chifeng City arrested him, and he is now facing trial. On December 21, 2012, six practitioners, including Jia Bin, Bao Wenju, Bao Wenrong, Wang Xiufeng, Wang Zhigang, and Ma Xiaoguang, were reported for installing satellite receivers. They were arrested by personnel from the police department, the 610 Office, and the Domestic Security Division in Aohan Banner Police Department.

By late January 2013, the cases of these six practitioners had been filed with the Inner Mongolia Procuratorate and the Chifeng Procuratorate. The families of Bao Wenju, Bao Wenrong, Wang Xiufeng, Wang Zhigang, and Jia Bin have hired lawyers to plead not guilty for them.
