(Minghui.org) On December 28, 2012, a Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held in Bad Kissengen, Bavaria. Most of the attendees were from Germany, while some were from Switzerland, Austria and Czechoslovakia. A total of 13 practitioners shared their cultivation experiences. Many in attendence agreed that hearing from other practitioners was very beneficial. As a result of listening to others' experiences, they were able to see the gap between themselves and other practitioners.
In the presentations, some practitioners talked about how they eliminated their fear and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) culture when they made phone calls to China to clarify the truth. Some talked about how they looked inward and cooperated with other practitioners in clarifying the truth to German elected officials. Others recounted their experiences in talking to tourists from China about Falun Gong, for the past seven years, rain or shine. Still others shared their experiences in memorizing and reciting the Fa and examining themselves for omisions and shortcomings.
Many new practitioners attended the conference. In the past, the conference was bilingual, with German and Chinese simultaneous interpreting provided. This year, Vietnamese was added. This is because more people have started to practice Falun Gong in Vietnam, which has had a ripple effect outside of Vietnam.
“It was excellent!” Eva Marie commented. What impressed her most was how the speakers had eliminated their fear and looked inward unconditionally. “Only if one looks inward unconditionally can one be assisted and inspired by the divine and given wisdom. When practitioners have conflicts or come across difficulties, we must look inward unconditionally,” she said, adding, “The speeches were especially helpful and inspiring.”
Mr. Wang from Hanoi felt that the sharing about improving xinxing was very good. He said, “I was most touched by those elderly practitioners who persist in clarifying the truth to Chinese tourists, rain or shine, for the past few years.” Also, some western practitioners are starting to memorize the Fa, which reminded him to do so from now on. Mr. Wang learned that the cooperation between practitioners is very important. “We should not complain, but look inward. This is the most important point that I learned today.”
Ms. Zhang from Frankfurt said that what touched her most was how far practitioners looked inward. She said that before, when she looked inward, she stopped on the surface. “When you really look inward, you realize that Master has paved the way for us. We must maintain our thought to save people.”
Mr. Ding Lebin recently arrived from China. He had never had a chance to attend a Fa conference in China. “I was very encouraged by the fact that practitioners share about what they did well as well as what they did not do well. They follow Master's teachings and do the three things. It has made a tremendous impact in saving sentient beings. What impressed him most was practitioners striving “to study the Fa more and cultivate. All of our questions and puzzles can be solved by studying the Fa. Then, the three things we do will have better results.”
Mr. Ding's mother, Mrs. Ma Yumei, is a practitioner in Rizhao, Shandong. On April 3, 2012, she was arrested while distributing truth-clarification materials and has been incarcerated since then. Mr. Ding said, “I thought about my mother today. She is still being incarcerated. Had it not been for the persecution, we would have had many much larger experience sharing conferences.” He also commented that despite the persecution practitioners are suffering, they are still doing things to expose the persecution and save sentient beings. He said, “Outside of China, where we have such a good environment, practitioners should truly cherish it.”
Quach is a Vietnamese practitioner living in Czchoslovkia. He was very happy to have attended the conference. He felt that it was a very precious opportunity for him. Quach learned Falun Dafa on his own through the Internet. There was a time when he had a lot of interference, such as when his Internet connection would suddenly stop working, and he did not know anybody who could help because he lived in a rural area. He was hoping to get to know some Falun Dafa practitioners. He even dreamed about attending an experience sharing conference. He was at times very lonely and he even asked Master why he was so lonely. The following day, his wife came home with a Falun Dafa flyer. After that he was able to get in touch with local practitioners and joined in with Fa-rectification cultivation.
