(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang is a retired branch manager of the Bank of China. She saw an electronic billboard in front of her former bank displaying slanderous messages about Dafa.

She visited the bank's various presidents, managers and employees to tell them about Falun Dafa and the persecution. The staff were very moved by her perseverance and had the messages removed from the billboard.

Her righteous thoughts and actions inspired me. Several other banks also had billboards displaying slanderous messages about Dafa.

One bank was located near a shopping mall where many people could see them. After I told Ms. Wang about this, we decided to visit the different banks to clarify the facts to the managers and employees there.

When we visited one bank manager, I told him that my aunt, who had just returned from Canada, chose not to deposit her money there because she saw the slanderous messages and thought the bank was unethical in its practices.

She had observed Falun Dafa practitioners in Canada, and said they are a group of good people who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

I also told him that more than 1,000 people used to practiced Falun Dafa in the park just across the street from this bank before the persecution started in 1999, and that the slanderous messages about Dafa had made them decide not to open an account there. He then asked us to talk to the bank's president.

Many other practitioners helped to visit the managers of this bank to request that the slanderous messages be removed, but the staff were unfriendly towards them.

I then decided to write a letter to banks, demanding that the slanderous messages be removed immediately. I explained what Falun Dafa is: that it teaches people to be good by following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance; it helps to elevate their moral standards, to consider others first and become selfless; and that the practice has spread to more than 100 countries and regions around the world.

I added that not a single Chinese law stipulates that Falun Dafa is illegal. Jiang Zemin launched the persecution, and the 610 Office then carried out his directives: to ruin their [Falun Dafa practitioners'] reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

I also informed them that 200,000 Falun Dafa practitioners in China have filed lawsuits against Jiang for persecuting them.

Fellow practitioners helped distribute the letters to the managers and employees of the various banks. As a result, the slanderous messages were removed from the billboards, and many of the employees also quit the Chinese Communist Party.
