Australia: Falun Dafa Practitioners in Canberra Convey Their Deepest Respect and Wish Master Li a Happy New Year

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Canberra took the opportunity of the coming New Year to thank Master Li Hongzhi and wish him a Happy New Year. In their greeting message they wrote, “We descended to earth from high levels. We have reincarnated lifetime after lifetime. Master, you found us and taught us the principles of the universe Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance so that we can return to our origin. The path of cultivation is fraught with difficulties.”

“We vowed to assist Master in Fa-rectification and save sentient beings. We will work hard in saving more people and at the same time persist in doing the three things. We will practice cultivation solidly, look inward, have faith in Master and the Fa, and diligently cultivate until the end.”

Eighty-six-year-old Practitioner Grateful to Master for Giving Him a Second Life 

Mr. Xiao He, a Vietnamese-Chinese, is 86 years old. He attended Master’s lecture in Sydney in 1999. “I listened attentively to every word Master said. I thought, ‘I must practice this.’” Mr. Xiao said after he began practicing he experienced many extraordinary and wonderful things.

Mr. Xiao reads the main book of Falun Dafa, Zhuan Falun.

For years, Mr. Xiao was tormented by many ailments including backaches and high blood pressure. Soon after he started practicing, all his health issues were resolved. He even quit his addiction to smoking and drinking.

Mr. Xiao stepped on a land mine buried by the Communist armies during the Vietnam War in 1967. His left leg was badly injured and his thigh bone was fractured into many pieces. Doctors wanted to amputate his leg but he did not agree to the surgery and left the hospital. For over 30 years, he suffered from leg pain and walked with a limp. He struggled to do the sitting mediation exercise. Slowly he was able to progress from one leg crossed to both legs crossed. Three years after he began practicing his injured leg improved and then returned to normal. People around him said it was a miracle.

One day in 2010, Mr. Xiao's heart hurt. Doctors said his heart valve was damaged. When he became unconscious his family took him to the hospital. He had an operation to replace his heart valve with an artificial one, but the surgery was not successful. His heart stopped beating after the five-hour operation and he was rushed back into surgery. Mr. Xiao recalled his soul already left his body. He felt liberated and went to a wonderful place. 

The second operation took four hours. Mr Xiao’s soul returned to his body after that operation and he felt the pain of his physical body. The doctors said the valve would only last six years and he would have to undergo surgery again to replace it. Through consistent Fa study and doing the exercises, ten years have passed and he does not feel any discomfort in his heart. He has completely recovered.

Mr Xiao said: “I feel very fortunate to practice Falun Dafa. I have become fit and healthy, my morals have improved and Master gave me a second life.”

“Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for Master Li. I must cherish this opportunity that is hard to come by and practice cultivation diligently to repay Master. On the occasion of the coming New Year, I thank Master Li for his salvation and wish him a Happy New Year!”
