(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, has been well known for its miraculous healing power. I would like to share several amazing stories that have happened to my family members which testify to Dafa’s beauty.
My sister is 70 years old. She is an illiterate farmer. She was born amid the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s Land Reform Movement (1948-1950) and grew up in the period of the Great Leap Forward (1958-1962). Her education was interrupted by the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976).
In response to the CCP’s call to “work hard to get rich,” my sister worked long hours, day in and day out, often skipping meals, but her family was still very poor.
Such long-term hard work over the years took a toll on my sister’s health. She suddenly passed out in the wheat field on a sweltering hot day. But she kept working after she woke up. After that incident, she often fainted. On one occasion, she passed out while riding a bicycle on the street and was rushed to the hospital. She quickly checked out of the hospital because she could not afford the expensive medical costs. A few days later, she fainted again at the farm while harvesting peanuts.
My husband and I thus went over to help her harvest. We chatted while working, starting with traditional Chinese culture and international events, before turning to the topic of Falun Dafa’s healing power. She did not object this time, and in the end she actually quit the Youth League. At the moment we left her home, she said that she wanted to practice Dafa. We were very happy and gave her our MP3 audio player which contained the lecture audios.
My sister later told us that she fell asleep one night while listening to the lectures. She saw in a dream that Master (founder of Falun Dafa) appeared, and she flew with Master to the places she worked at. When she woke up, her decades-long nasal congestion became clear and she was extremely energetic.
Finally, my sister said, “I never told you but I was diagnosed with nose cancer. We couldn’t afford to pay the medical bills. But thanks to Dafa, I have now recovered.”
Now 70 years old, my sister can still ride her electric tricycle to sell vegetables and clarify the truth on the street.
My younger brother has a deli business in another city. He told my elder sister one day that his wife had colitis, which might develop into cancer. They had spent a lot of their hard-earned money on medical bills, but her situation did not improve.
My sister-in-law later went back to her hometown to take care of her father, who had been hospitalized for gallstones. During that period, she visited my sister, who told her about the healing power of Falun Dafa with her own personal experience. My sister-in-law doubted if it would work for her, thinking that she had been treated for years in the hospital to no avail.
My sister said, “You have spent so much money and nothing worked. Practicing Falun Dafa will not cost you a penny. Why don’t you give it a try?”
My sister played Master’s lecture video for my sister-in-law. She watched the video and slowly fell asleep. When she woke up, she told my sister that she dreamed that a gyroscope was whirling in her lower abdomen and spinning.
“That is great. Master is taking care of you,” my sister said excitedly.
My sister-in-law stopped taking medicines after she returned to her city of residence. She had serious symptoms of blood in the stool. But she was determined not to take the medicines again at that time. The situation lasted almost three months and she then recovered. She later understood that Master was cleansing her body.
Witnessing the miracles of Dafa, her family of three all took up Falun Dafa.
My son got married at age 30 and had his own son a year later. One day, his father-in-law called him and said that he had bone hyperplasia. It compressed the sciatic nerve, and he could not straighten his back due to the pain. He said he had used up all his savings for treatment and also owed a few thousand yuan to his manager at work. The manager forgave the debt, but asked him to leave the place.
My son asked a few good acquaintances to help get his parents-in-law onto the train. When they arrived at my house, his father-in-law was totally paralyzed and could not move. My son and I had to support him and get him upstairs. He could only lie on his stomach, even when eating and sleeping.
My daughter-in-law is very filial. After marrying my son, she quickly assimilated herself into Dafa. She said that she has come for Dafa. She was not worried about her father’s condition. She clarified the truth about Dafa to him. On the following day, she told her father to follow her to read Zhuan Falun (the main book of Falun Dafa) because he was illiterate.
Her mother first complained that we did not get medical treatment for her husband. But she became speechless on the third day when she saw her husband able to sit up. He could stand up and do the Dafa exercises on the fourth day with his daughter. He went to the restroom and showered by himself on the fifth day and went out on the streets with his wife on the sixth day.
The security guards of my residential building were also shocked at his changes, from being a paralyzed man to an able-bodied person within one week, without medicine. They realized what Falun Dafa is really about and decided not to follow the order to monitor practitioners in my residential complex. They also quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. They asked for some additional information about Falun Dafa and frequently requested Dafa amulets for their families.
My son’s father-in-law is now working at his old workplace again. His relatives and friends at work know that Falun Dafa is good.
My grandson is almost five years old now. He has listened to Master’s Fa teachings every day since he was born. When he could speak, my daughter-in-law taught him to read Zhuan Falun. He could also recite some poems from Hong Yin.
My grandson told us that he came to this world with Master. He said that heaven was fun and the houses there were beautiful, just like those seen in Shen Yun.
Five of us live together, including my husband and I, and my son’s family of three, but my grandson said that we have six persons including Master. He says good night to Master every night before going to bed. One day, he complained of having a headache after he came home from school. He silently recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and then fell asleep. His headache was gone when he woke up.
My sister from the first story often went out to clarify the facts about Dafa. She once talked to the owner of a clothing store. Many practitioners had told him about Dafa. He agreed that Falun Dafa was good, but he was still skeptical about the healing power of the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
His store was closed for a while, and then reopened again a few months later. He told my sister about his own experience, that Dafa saved his life and his business.
After a local earthquake, the government sent out relief money to the victims. Some subsidies were calculated based on the size of the household, and many couples got divorced in order to get more benefits as two separate families. They then remarried after receiving the relief funds. The clothing store owner and his wife also did a fake divorce. The wife, however, unexpectedly turned the fake into reality and walked away with all the family savings. Their son went missing at that time. This old man was left alone without any money. He was in rage and passed out on the ground.
He was taken to the hospital by his younger brother, but the doctor could not find anything wrong with him. While in stupor, this man thought of the Dafa phrases and started to recite them repeatedly. The doctor said, “This is a hospital. Since you believe in Falun Dafa, you should practice it at home.” The doctor used this as an excuse to discharge him from the hospital.
Once he got home, this man recited the phrases over and over. Slowly, his health improved, and he could get off the bed. Finally, he regained his health and reopened the store for business.
He told my sister, “My goodness! Reciting the phrases can really eliminate diseases! Falun Dafa is really the Buddha Fa! Although I do not have anything now, it would be enough as long as I recite the phrases.”
