Pure Kindness Is a Powerful Tool to Disintegrate Evil Factors

(Minghui.org) The police, procuratorate, and the court have been helping the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecute Falun Gong practitioners for the past 20 plus years. Having lived under the persecution and pressure for so long, some practitioners lacked benevolence and developed resentment toward those who worked for the CCP – they pushed them away.

When faced with these people, practitioners sometimes regarded the persecution as something one person inflicts on another and thus argued with them, which resulted in practitioner arrests and other losses.

Master said,

“If you, as Dafa disciples, want to effect change in a person when you clarify the truth and want to save him, you must not arouse the negative elements in that person. You must hold to being shan, and only then can you resolve problems that may arise and save that person.” (Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference)

Falun Dafa practitioners can only dissolve the evil after they have cultivated pure shan. Fighting evil with evil will only provide excuses for the old forces to escalate the persecution.

I remember when a group of people from the town government and the police station wanted to “transform” me during the “zero-out” campaign two years ago. Among them, the names of some, including the head of the police station, were on the list of evildoers published on the Minghui website.

One leader, who was on the list, spoke first. He started with the political goal of the zero-out campaign using a contemptuous and dominating tone, in an attempt to scare me so that I would cooperate with their demands.

I was not intimated and asked Master Li, the founder and teacher of Falun Dafa, to help me disintegrate the evil factors and lives that were controlling them. Looking at the leader as he was talking, I stared right into his eyes and sent righteous thoughts.

When he finished, I said with a smile “I sympathize with your situation. I know you have your orders and have to do your job. In fact you know very well that Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. I know that your true natures are kind. You don’t want to persecute the practitioners on one hand, and yet need to accomplish your assignment on the other, you are caught in the middle. But have you thought about when everything is over, you will be a scapegoat for the CCP. The higher authorities never take responsibility for things, and lower workers always take the blame.” I described to them similar incidents that the CCP had done in past campaigns.

Afterwards, the leader bragged about his division level position. I took the opportunity to say, “It was from the blessings of your ancestors and your own effort that you achieved what you did.” He was flattered by what I said. I then told them the basic facts about Falun Dafa, the fabricated self-immolation on Tiananmen Square, and the organ harvesting. Everyone was quiet and no one interrupted me when I was talking. The whole “zero-out” visit became me speaking facts about Dafa. They asked me questions afterwards and I believe I answered them satisfactorily.

When I finished talking, some of the people told me that I was a good speaker (I know it was accomplished with Master’s help), my energy field was different from others, and that I was great. They shook my hand. Some wanted to make friends with me, some told me to just look for them if I should need any help, and some said they would help me get compensated and help my wife get a job. I thanked them all.

Through this, I realized again that only when Dafa disciples cultivate pure shan, and think about the eternal life of a sentient being from his point of view, can we save such a person. We should not form a notion and think the person is evil or deserves to be on the list of evildoers. What we do is to dissolve the evil influencing the person and save him.

We need to always remember this Fa so that we can fulfill our promises and accomplish our mission.
