(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Beijing] Ms. Zhu Ying Faces Trial
Ms. Zhu Ying, a Beijing resident, was arrested at her father’s home in Xinglong County, Chengde City, Hebei Province on June 4, 2024. She became completely incapacitated with extremely high blood pressure in September 2024. Her family applied to have her released for medical treatment but was rejected. The Chengde City Procuratorate has indicted her and she is now facing trial by the Chengde City Court.
2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Case Against Ms. Su Yanxia Submitted to the Court
Ms. Su Yanxia was arrested by officers from the Chengxi Police Station in August 2024. She is now facing trial by the Chaoyang District Court.
3. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Yue Jingxia Arrested
Yue Jingxia, gender unknown, was arrested by over ten officers from the Qianyang Township Police Station and Yi County Police Department on the morning of December 19, 2024. They ransacked Yue’s home and confiscated the Falun Gong books, the photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and a computer.
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yu Guixia Tried in Court
Ms. Yu Guixia from Yanshou County was tried by the Daowai District Court on December 16, 2024. Her son entered a not-guilty plea for her. She also testified in her own defense.
5. [Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Li Yanling Arrested
Ms. Li Yanling from Tulihe Town was arrested in November 2024. Her current case status is unknown.
6. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Lirong Arrested
Ms. Sun Lirong was arrested at her home in Yi’an County, by two officers from Fuyu County on December 19, 2024. Her home was ransacked and her photo of Falun Gong’s founder and several information cards about Falun Gong were confiscated. She was taken to Fuyu County.
7. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
Five Falun Gong practitioners, including Ms. Yuan Meiyun, Ms. Liu Yuying, Ms. Kuang Fengmei, Ms. Dai Maixiang, and Tan Weiqing, were harassed and had their photos taken on the afternoon of November 12, 2024, by Huang Yong, head of Nanyue District Domestic Security Division and three other officers.
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Yuan Xiufeng Harassed
Yuan Xiufeng was photographed by officer Ding from the Gongrencun Police Station in Tiexi District on December 11, 2024.
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jin Xiaofeng and Ms. Zhao Guiping Facing Trial
Mr. Jin Xiaofeng and Ms. Zhao Guiping were scheduled to stand trial in the Dadong District Court at the end of December 2024.
10. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Min Arrested
Ms. Chen Min, 60, was arrested in the Jialejia Supermarket on the morning of December 18, 2024.
11. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Suying Sentenced to One Year
Ms. Chen Suying, of Jiufeng Township, Zhong District, was sentenced to one year on September 18, 2023. She was allowed to serve time at home. Her term ended on September 19, 2024.
12. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Jingping and Ms. Jin Changshu Arrested
Ms. Wang Jingping from Shuangcheng District was arrested on the evening of December 18, 2024. Her home was ransacked.
Ms. Jin Changshu from Acheng District was arrested at home by officers from the Chengbei Police Station on the morning of December 19, 2024. She was released in the afternoon.
13. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Xiuhua Persecuted in Prison
Ms. Gao Xiuhua from Huangdao District, 72, was admitted to the Shandong Province Women’s Prison. When her family went to visit her in December 2024, they learned that Ms. Gao was held in solitary confinement and watched by two inmates around the clock. The inmates also injected her with unknown drugs, which caused her to be in a confused state and she was fearful of talking about whether she was abused.
14. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pang Xiufeng Arrested and Detained
Ms. Pang Xiufeng was arrested by several officers including Cao Jun from the Huangtuzhuang Town Police Station when she rode an e-bike to work and passed a police checkpoint near Lingshan Temple on the morning of November 20, 2024. She was detained for 5 days in the Sanhe City Lockup.
15. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Shuling Taken Into Custody to Serve a One-Year Term Given in 2023
Ms. Liu Shuling from Ninghe District, 72, was sentenced to one year in prison on December 26, 2023. While she was denied admission by the detention center back then because of her health condition, officers from the Qiaobei Police Station took her back into custody on December 16, 2024.
