Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioners Wish Master Li Hongzhi a Happy New Year

(Minghui.org) It has been 32 years since Master Li Hongzhi introduced Falun Dafa to the public in 1992. Many of the first groups of learners are now at an advanced age. Thanks to Falun Dafa’s amazing health benefits, these seniors are still as energetic as can be. They devote most of their free time to spreading the goodness of Falun Dafa and raising awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s ongoing persecution of their faith. 

On the special occasion of the 2025 new year, many senior Falun Dafa practitioners sent in their heartfelt greetings, thanking Master Li for guiding them on their cultivation journey and expressing their determination to help more people see the illegality of the persecution.

The well-wishers covered in this report included many in their 80s or 90s. A 92-year-old practitioner wrote that he took up Falun Dafa in 1996 and longed to meet Master one day. An 82-year-old woman said that she has been practicing Falun Dafa for 27 years. She is still sharp as a tack and does not need reading glasses. She said she’s living proof of Falun Dafa’s extraordinary power. 

Three of the practitioners are from the same Fa-study group and aged 78, 81, and 82. They work together to produce Falun Dafa informational materials and also go to different places to distribute such materials. 

An 85-year-old woman thanked Master for guiding and protecting her during her 27 years of practicing Falun Dafa. She said she could only repay Master by doing even better. Another practitioner in her 70s shared how she recovered in just ten days of having a stroke, thanks to Falun Dafa.

There was also a practitioner whose family of seven spanning three generations all practiced or supported Falun Dafa. Her six-year-old grandson asked her to include the following words in her greetings, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance is good. Greetings Master! You’ve been working hard!”
