1. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Chonghua Faces Indictment

Ms. Zhu Chonghua, 55, was arrested at home on July 8, 2025, by officers from Bayan County Domestic Security Division and Diyi Police Station. They broke in by prying open the door and ransacked her home. She was held in Harbin City Women’s Detention Center. Her case has been submitted to Yilan County Procuratorate.

2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Zhimin Arrested

Ms. Guo Zhimin was arrested by five police officers on October 24, 2025. They confiscated several Falun Gong books and two magazines. Ms. Guo is being held in Pudong Detention Center.

3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Xu Zhenguo, Ms. Zhao Shuping, Ms. Tang Guiyan, Ms. Xiong Fengyan, Mr. Wang Liwu, Ms. Xia Xiuhua, and Ms. Yao Xiurong were arrested by Chengguan Police Station officers on October 28, 2025 for talking to people about Falun Gong at a farmers market. They were admitted by the Tangshan City First Detention Center in the evening.

4. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Face Trial

Gu Xiewen and Ms. Zhang Qiongfang were tried by the Macheng City Court on October 28, 2025.

Ms. Zhang Fengyu, who was arrested in late 2024, was scheduled to stand trial at Macheng City Court on October 30, 2025.

5. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Sumei Tried

Ms. Wang Sumei, in her 70s, was tried by a local court on October 22 and 28, 2025. She was taken back into custody after the second hearing.

6. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Practitioners Yan Jingu and Zhan Xinhua Arrested

Practitioners Yan Jingu and Zhan Xinhua, in their 70s, were arrested on the morning of October 29, 2025, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were released that afternoon.

7. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Ms. Yuan Xiaoyun Harassed

Ms. Yuan Xiaoyun was harassed at home by two Xiaochi Town Police Station officers on the afternoon of October 20, 2025. They took pictures of her against her will.

8. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhou Zaitian Sentenced to Prison Again

Dr. Zhou Zaitian, 75, was tried in May 2025 for talking to people about Falun Gong. He was sentenced to three years with a three-year probation in August.

During the 26 years of the persecution of Falun Gong, Dr. Zhou was arrested and had his home ransacked for at least 15 times. He was held in brainwashing centers three times. He was sentenced to three and a half years in 2007 and become deaf after suffering more than 20 torture methods in the prison.

9. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Shuping Tried

Ms. Hao Shuping was arrested on July 8, 2025. She was tried by the Zunhua City Court on October 29, 2025.

10. [Leiyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhang Yingrong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yingrong was distributing Falun Gong materials on October 16, 2025, when someone called the police. She was arrested by Wulipai Police Station officers and detained for ten days. She was released on October 27.

11. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Jiliang Arrested

Mr. Wang Jiliang was arrested in August 2025 after being tracked by the cyber police for spreading information about Falun Gong using his smart phone.

12. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Huang Dehong Arrested

Mr. Huang Dehong was arrested on October 27, 2025, after three police officers broke into his home. They handcuffed him and accused him of distributing Falun Gong materials. They ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books, Minghui Weekly, and other informational materials. His detention location isn’t known.

13. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Xiaohong Detained for 14 Months and Counting

Mr. Wang Xiaohong was arrested by Jiangxia District Domestic Security Division officers at the end of August 2024. He has been detained since.

14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Hou Guilan Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Hou Guilan was arrested by officers from Pingfang District Police Department and Domestic Security Division on May 2, 2025. She has been sentenced to three years and two months in prison.

15. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Su Guangdong’s Home Ransacked

Mr. Su Guangdong’s home was ransacked by six Yongqing County Domestic Security Division officers on October 29, 2025. They confiscated two cell phones, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and informational materials.

16. [Cangxian County, Hebei Province] Mr. Xiao Shurong’s Home Ransacked

Several people knocked on Mr. Xiao Shurong’s door on October 29, 2025. He wasn’t at home and his wife did not open the door. The police scaled the fence and broke in. They ransacked the place and confiscated several printers and Falun Gong books.
