(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 22 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Song Ruixiang was scheduled to appear in the Ranghulu District Court on December 10, 2025.
Ms. Jin Yue was arrested on May 13, 2025 by Zhao Junfeng and other officers from the Cang County Domestic Security Division. She has been detained in the Cangzhou City Detention Center. The Yunhe District Procuratorate indicted Ms. Jin and submitted her case to the Yunhe District Court in late August 2025. She was scheduled to stand trial on December 11, 2025.
Ms. Li Mengying, Ms. Liang Yuhua, Mr. Xie Yiqiang, and several other practitioners were arrested on November 2, 2025. They are detained in the Yinchuan City Detention Center and their cases were submitted to the Xixia District Procuratorate on December 1, 2025.
Ms. Fang Caixi was arrested at work on June 23, 2025. After her case was submitted to the Ganjingzi Procuratorate on October 17, 2025, prosecutor Zhuang Ning denied her family defender’s request to visit her, review her case document, or have her released on bail. Another family member contacted prosecutor Zhuang on December 1, 2025, stating that they wanted to withdraw the testimony they made against Ms. Fang after being threatened by the police. Zhuang refused to allow the testimony to be withdrawn. Zhuang sent Ms. Fang’s case to the Ganjingzi District Court on December 3, 2025.
Ms. Guo Jia was tried by the Wuqing District Court on November 24, 2025. An insider revealed that she was sentenced to two or three years and that she has appealed the verdict.
Shi Guoyu, gender unknown, was arrested at home by officers from the Beijing Domestic Security Division and Sanhe City Police Department on October 15, 2025.
Shi posted information about the persecution of Falun Gong on WeChat (a popular Chinese social media platform) and was traced by Beijing Domestic Security Division officers. Shi’s home was ransacked. Shi is being held in the Sanhe City Detention Center.
Mr. Cao Changqi and Mr. Zhang Lijing were arrested on November 20, 2025. Their homes were ransacked. Both were released later that day.
Ms. Wu Guangqiong’s home was ransacked on December 1, 2025, by four police officers and Yang Huana, Party secretary of Huanglong Village.
Ms. Wang Fengzhi, 79, was arrested and released on bail in 2024. She was repeatedly harassed after her release. The police even held her head up and took a picture of her when she was bedridden. Her health has continuously declined during the ongoing harassment, and Ms. Wang required a major operation in October 2025.
Hou Yurong, gender unknown, was harassed at home on December 2, 2025 by three officers from the Wan Town Police Station. The searched Hou’s place and tried to force Hou to sign documents.
Ms. Liu Yajie was released on November 17, 2025, after serving a 16-month term.
Many practitioners in Muping District were harassed starting from November 21, 2025. An insider revealed that the harassment would last until the 2026 Chinese New Year on February 17, with the police searching for and removing any Falun Gong-related materials posted by practitioners.
Ms. Zhang, first name unknown, was arrested and given 10 days of administrative detention on November 25 by Gaoling Police Station officers, for mailing letters about Falun Gong.
Mr. Shi Guoxing was harassed at home on November 29, 2025 by four officers from the Sunshou Police Station. They demanded to know if he put up Falun Gong flyers and searched his place, confiscating 13 Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong. Mr. Shi tried to stop them, but to no avail.
Ms. Wu Mei’s husband passed away while she was serving a five-year prison term between 2013 and 2018. The police kept harassing her after she was released. She was forced to live away from home for over a year in 2021 to avoid the police. The police harassed her two more times in June and on November 28, 2025. They tried to take pictures of her, but she refused to let them.
Ms. Li Guohua was arrested on September 17, 2025 and detained for 13 days. She was released on September 30, only to be arrested again on October 24, 2025. She is currently held in the Chengdu City Detention Center.
It was previously reported by Minghui.org that Mr. Kan Zhaotai and his wife Ms. Tian Lieyun were arrested during a police sweep on November 20, 2025. It’s now confirmed that the police indeed searched their home that day, but didn’t arrest them.
The couple’s daughter, Ms. Kan Shimei, was arrested at work by three officers from the Mengyin County Police Department and Yedian Town Police Station. They searched her office and took her to the police department for interrogation. She was taken to the Linyi City Detention Center on November 21 and was soon released on bail as she found to be unfit for detention. Her cell phone, car, and other personal items were confiscated.
Ms. Jiang Huiqin, 70, was arrested at home around 7 p.m. on November 24, 2025, by more than 10 officers from the Huangpi District Domestic Security Division and Hengdianjie Police Station. She was admitted to the Wuhan City First Lockup the next day. Her incapacitated husband has been left at home without care.
