(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 26 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Zhang Shiying was taken to the Dagang Lockup on December 5, 2025, to serve a 15-day administrative detention.
Mr. Jiang Yongjun’s wife was arrested and taken away by Chengdong Police Station officers on December 4, 2025.
Ms. Yang Shufen and Ms. Hu Jinxia were arrested by Qingquan Town Police Station officers when they were talking to people about Falun Gong on December 4, 2025. Ms. Yang’s home was ransacked by the police and Weibeishan Community staffers.
Ms. Li Ping was arrested at home on the evening of November 25, 2025, after she was recorded by surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong informational materials in residential buildings. Her home was ransacked. All of her Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated. Ms. Li is currently detained in the Yaojia Detention Center.
Eight practitioners from Dongfeng District and their family members have been harassed by local community workers, police, and agents from the Dongfeng District Political and Legal Affairs Committee since November 2025.
Mr. Wang Zhuang was harassed at home twice by agents from the Dongfeng District Political and Legal Affairs Committee and was ordered to write statements to renounce his faith.
Someone from the Changsheng Community Office knocked on Ms. Bao Lixia’s door and left a note demanding that she call the grid management officer. [Note: China’s grid-style social management system involves dividing each county into smaller zones (or grids) and tasking the grid managers with monitoring citizens and reporting suspicious activity to local governments on a regular basis.]
Ms. Li Yanying was harassed at home several times by Changsheng Police Station officers and local community staffers. They also took photos of her.
Ms. Ding Jie’s family members often received harassing calls from the Jing’an Community grid officer.
Ms. Qin Xia was harassed at home by Xiaoyun Community staffers in November 2025. They took a photo of her, following orders from the Anqing Police Station.
The family members of Ms. Cui Fengying and Ms. Wang Xiaoyun also received harassing calls from Xiaoyun Community staffers.
Ms. Luan Lina and her family members received harassing calls from Qunlou Community staffers.
Ms. Zhou Wencai, 87, was reported to police for distributing Falun Gong informational materials on the evening of September 3, 2025. Three officers searched her home on September 15, 2025. They didn’t find anything related to Falun Gong but still gave her a 5-day administrative detention. Given her advanced age, they didn’t enforce the detention, but took a photo of Ms. Zhou with the penalty document.
Mr. Lu and his wife were harassed at home by four officers from the Xinhua Police Station in September 2025. They were arrested by two officers from the Gaocheng District Domestic Security Division and four officers from the Xinhua Police Station in mid-November 2025. They were interrogated and released later that day. It’s reported that their cell phones have been under long-term surveillance by the police.
Several practitioners in Guozhuang Village and Xinfeng Village were harassed by officers from the Lianzhou Town Police Station on November 16, 2025.
Another practitioner was harassed by four officers from the Xinhua Police Station on November 19, 2025. They knocked on the door, but the practitioner’s family didn't answer.
Ms. Wang Lin’e’s husband recently received a harassing call from the Fuzhou Police Station, asking for their address so that officers could come take a photo of Ms. Wang. It’s not clear how her husband responded.
Mr. Xie Yiqiang was arrested in early October 2025 for sharing poems and songs on WeChat, a popular social media platform in China. His home was ransacked. He was previously arrested in 2011 in Shenzhen City and detained for six months.
Ms. Chen Weihong was arrested on June 10, 2025. She has recently been released.
Ms. Zheng Yan, her husband, and Ms. Yan Hongzhuan were arrested on July 16, 2025. Ms. Zheng and her husband were recently released. Ms. Yan’s situation is unknown.
Ms. Yu Shuxin was arrested at the Shenyang High-speed Rail Station on November 11, 2025, when she was found to have paper bills printed with Falun Gong information in her luggage. She was detained for 15 days and released on November 26, 2025.
Ms. Liu Shucui, 65, was arrested on November 27, 2025, at her employer’s home where she worked as a house aide, by officers from the Chengguan Police Station and Pingshan County Domestic Security Division. The police took her to her own home and ransacked her place. She was then taken to the police department for interrogation. She didn’t cooperate with police. Ms. Liu is currently detained in the Shijiazhuang Detention Center.
Prior to her arrest, Ms. Liu received a harassing call from the Chengguan Police Station on April 4, 2025. The police indicated that they had been instructed by their higher ups to meet with Ms. Liu annually in order to check on whether she still practices Falun Gong.
