(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 27 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Tianjin] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Zhang Baohua, his wife Ms. Zhang Jiamin, their daughter-in-law Ms. Wang Xiaodan, Mr. Yu Boqun, and his wife Ms. Zhang Shufeng, all from Baodi District, and Ms. Zhang, first name unknown, from Nankai District, were arrested on December 2, 2025. The police followed them for days before arresting them. All of the practitioners’ homes were ransacked.

No one was in when the police went to Mr. Yu’s home. They broke in and seized an old computer and a dot matrix printer.

Ms. Zhang of Nankai District was taken to the Nankai District Detention Center. Her lawyer has visited her. Mr. Yu was released on bail after the Jizhou District Detention Center refused to accept him due to his poor health. The other four practitioners were admitted to the Jizhou District Detention Center.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fang Caixia Faces Trial

Ms. Fang Caixia was scheduled to stand trial on December 16, 2025.

3. [Beijing] Mr. Liu Yaping Arrested

Mr. Liu Yaping was arrested by Wangxinzhuang Police Station officers on December 8, 2025. His home was ransacked. He is being held in the Pinggu District Public Security Law Enforcement and Case Handling Center.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ma Fuyu Detained

Ms. Ma Fuyu was arrested on November 24, 2025. She is being held in the Pidu District Detention Center.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Guiqin’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

The case of Ms. Zhou Guiqin, 85, has been turned over to the Dadong District Procuratorate.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yaping Arrested

Ms. Wang Yaping was arrested on December 3, 2025, by six officers from the Nanhu Police Station at the entrance of her apartment building. She was taken to the Shenyang City First Detention Center.

7. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Wang Ying and Chen Dong Harassed

Practitioners Wang Ying and Chen Dong were harassed and had their homes searched by Xinji Police Station officers on December 5, 2025.

8. [Beijing] An 80-Year-Old Female Practitioner Released on Bail

An 80-year-old female practitioner in Chaoyang District was arrested after being reported in late November 2025 for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. Her home was searched and she was released on bail.

9. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] 85-Year-Old Ms. Lyu Xiuqin’s Home Ransacked

The home of Ms. Lyu Xiuqin, 85, was searched by officers from the Yunyan Police Department and the local police station, on November 19, 2025. They claimed that someone had reported her for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was taken to the police department for a physical exam and released in the evening.

10. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Han Jinhua Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Han Jinhua, 67, from Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, was arrested after being reported for distributing Falun Gong materials while staying at her son’s home in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province.

Ms. Han was tried by the Lianhu District Court in Xi’an City on August 30, 2024. Her lawyer received a notice from the court in mid-July 2025, announcing that she had been sentenced to three years and four months in prison. Her family has appealed the sentence on her behalf.

11. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Xiuhua Faces Prosecution

Ms. Gao Xiuhua was arrested on October 24, 2025, and was held in the Yingkou City Detention Center. When her family went to the Jinniushan Police Station on December 8, 2025 to demand her release, they were told that that her case had been submitted to the Zhanqian District Procuratorate. The police also revealed that the prosecutor had returned her case for additional evidence and they threatened to hire a hacker to decode Ms. Gao’s computer to collect evidence against her.

12. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Yanzhi Displaced

Mr. Zhang Yanzhi went to Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, for work in September 2023. He was arrested in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, and taken to a brainwashing center for one month. He went on a hunger strike and was released on bail.

Officers from the Wuxi City Domestic Security Division and the Renhe Police Station in Rongcheng City went to Mr. Zhang’s home in October 2024. An officer put Mr. Zhang in a chokehold. In self-defense, he bit the officer and then escaped. The Wuxi Domestic Security Division and Renhe Police Station issued an arrest warrant for Mr. Zhang, accusing him of assaulting a police officer. He has been forced to live away from home to hide from the police.

13. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Pang Fengqin, Ms. Ge Yanwen, Ms. Bai Yutai, and several other Falun Gong practitioners were recently harassed by Tangu Police Station officers and neighborhood committee personnel. The officers took pictures of the practitioners against their will.

14. [Shifang County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Feng Dengju Arrested

Ms. Feng Dengju was seized at home and taken to the Deyang City Police Station late November 2025. The police questioned her as to why she practiced Falun Gong and why she distributed Falun Gong informational materials. She refused to answer any questions or sign any paperwork. She was released the next morning.

15. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Shan Shuli, Ms. Xu Xiuying, Ms. Sui Qinggui, Ms. Ju Zongmei, and Ms. Zheng Huixiang were harassed by Zan and three other officers from the Xiguan Police Station on December 3, 2025. The officers took photos of them without their consent.
