(Minghui.org) Minghui.org previously reported that at least 32 practitioners in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, were arrested in recent months because they practice Falun Gong. New information has emerged that the 32 arrests were actually carried out over the course of just two days, November 2 and 3, 2025. Three of their family members and one neighbor were also seized. Most of the practitioners also had their homes raided by the police.
Officers from the Lijing Street Police Station, Fenghuang North Street Police Station, Daxin Town Police Station, Yuhuangge North Street Police Station, Wenhua Street Police Station, Mancheng North Street Police Station, Xihuayuan Police Station, and Bahu Road Police Station participated in the arrests.
Some of the police officers pried open the practitioners’ doors or sneaked in to arrest them. Some practitioners were arrested outright on the street.
Those who were arrested were:
- 15 practitioners, three family members and one neighbor in the Xingqing District: Li Jinhua and her daughter, Si Yurong and her daughter, Liang Yuhua and her husband, Xie Yiqiang and his neighbor, Yang Xuehong, Cai Guojun, Li Shilin, Liu Haixun, Yan Yinlu, Zhu Lin, Shen Dongmei, Zhang Xiaoping, Zhang Jianping, Wu Jinfang, and Ding Qian.
- Six practitioners in the Jinfeng District: Wang Xiangchen, Chen Baozong, Wang Yuzhou, Li Lanfeng, Shan Jining, and Wang Yuxiang.
- Six practitioners in the Xixia District: Song Jing, Chen Xueying, Zhao Lin, Sun Yajuan, Li Yiping, and Chen Yulan
- Two practitioners in Yongning County: Jiang Tao and Zhu Haiyan
- Three Others: Zhao Hengde, Mao Minwu, and Hu Jiancai
Nine Still Detained
Xie Yiqiang, Li Jinhua, Shen Dongmei, Wu Jinfang, Liang Yuhua, and Ding Qian are currently held at the Yinchuan City Detention Center.
The detention locations for Li Shilin, his wife Zhu Lin and Chen Xueying aren’t clear. The police put a seal on Mr. Li and Ms. Zhu’s home.
25 Released
Zhao Hengde, Zhao Lin, Si Yurong, Shan Jining, Wang Xiangchen, Wang Yuxiang, Wang Yuzhou, Yan Yinlu, Chen Baozong, and Li Lanfeng were released within 24 hours after their arrests.
Zhang Jianping, Liu Haixun, and his wife Yang Xuehong were released after seven days of detention.
Zhang Xiaoping and Hu Jiancai were released after eight days of detention.
Sun Yajuan and Li Yiping were released after 10 days of detention.
Song Jing was released after 13 days of detention.
Jiang Tao, Zhu Haiyan, Chen Yulan, and Cai Guojun were also released after unknown periods of detention.
The three family members of the practitioners have also been released.
The police harassed Hu Jiancai and Zhang Xiaoping again on November 25, 2025; they refused to open the door.
2 Cases with Unknown Status
What has happened to Mao Minwu and Xie Yiqiang’s neighbor isn’t clear.
