(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a Falun Dafa Information Day event in Lelystad on November 29, 2025. Many people learned about Falun Dafa and supported the practitioners in their efforts to end the persecution in China.

Lelystad is the capital of the Dutch province of Flevoland, its largest town, and one of the newest settlements in the Netherlands. Falun Dafa practitioners set up informational displays on De Promesse Street at noon, demonstrated the exercises, distributed flyers, talked with passersby, and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

Mr. Rom Van Rees, who runs a local restaurant, was very supportive of the practitioners’ Information Day activity. He signed a petition to end the persecution and warmly invited practitioners to take a break at his restaurant.

Mr. Rom Van Rees supports the practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.

A lady who is a member of Amnesty International signed the petition and said she was very familiar with the persecution of Falun Dafa in China.

After a man read the display boards that described the torture and persecution suffered by practitioners, he said sadly, “This is an inhumane crime, a disrespect for life, and it must be stopped.”

Rohen and Amera read the display board as they passed by, and they both signed the petition. Rohen said, “I was shocked by these [tortures]. This must stop!” Amera added, “This kind of behavior should not exist. These crimes should be stopped everywhere. Thank you for being here and telling people about this.”
