(Minghui.org) When other practitioners are in tribulations, should we act as onlookers to protect ourselves, or let go of ourselves to stop the evil? Practitioners at different levels will act differently. If we behave as onlookers, we would fall into the evil’s trap. The evil would then persecute Falun Dafa practitioners even more unscrupulously. Our cultivation environment would become more complicated and worse. If we can let go of ourselves and stop the evil’s actions, things will turn around, and the persecution will be dissolved. We would elevate in the Fa.
I’d like to share some stories in this regard to validate the Fa.
Three local practitioners went to the countryside by bicycle to distribute pamphlets and clarify the truth to people one spring many years ago. A young man reported them to the police. When they were about to leave the village, the young man rushed to the road and asked them questions to delay them. They noticed the police car when it was nearly 100 meters [328 feet] away from them. They jumped onto their bicycles and followed the narrow bumpy road toward their homes. Practitioner Kong (alias) was behind the other two practitioners. She slowed down and rode her bicycle in the middle of the road so that the police car couldn’t overtake her.
The police sounded the car horn repeatedly, but Kong still rode her bicycle slowly. When the other two practitioners were out of sight, the police car stopped. One officer got out and ran after Kong. Kong sped up. When the officer nearly caught her, she was on the downward slope under a railway culvert. Her bicycle raced down the slope, leaving the police officer far behind.
The railway culvert was under reconstruction. A ditch about 3 meters [9.8 feet] long and half a meter deep was dug into the lowest point of the culvert. The water in the ditch was about 30 centimeters deep, and on the opposite side of the ditch there was a steep soil pile about 3 meters high. Kong was thinking that she could get across the ditch and soil pile, but the policeman couldn’t. She pushed her bicycle through the water and up the soil pile. When she was not able to go any further, she shouted, “Master, please help me!” Thanks to Master’s strengthening, she arrived at the top of the pile, and then went down the slope. She arrived home safely.
She learned that the other two practitioners also got home safely. Thanks to Master’s protection, the police officer didn’t follow her across the ditch and over the soil pile.
Kong was thinking of the other two practitioners when the police were following them. Because of her selfless thought, Master rescued all three of them. The evil’s persecution plan was dissolved so that the police and the informant didn’t create more karma.
More than a dozen practitioners went to a building where several hundred workers from other provinces, who work in our city, lived. We clarified the truth to them. The security guard in the building found out that we were there about ten minutes after we arrived. He shouted loudly and some other workers shouted with him. Practitioners started to leave the building. When we got down to the hall on the first floor, more than ten men surrounded us and wouldn’t let us go. They threatened that they would report us to the police.
Other practitioners continued coming down from upstairs and went outside the building. Practitioner Ding saw the practitioners in the hall and came over to them. She said loudly to the workers there, “Falun Dafa is teaches people to be good and to behave according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Falun Dafa will bless you. We practitioners are good people and are doing good things. We haven’t done anything illegal.” These workers listened to her and left in silence. The tribulation was dissolved.
Outside the building one female practitioner was surrounded by more than ten men. They threatened that they would report her to the police. A male practitioner who had been sending forth righteous thoughts outside the building went over to them and said in a thundering voice, “What are you doing? Are you bullying this lady? We are locals. Do you want to do something against local people?” Hearing this, the men started to leave. The practitioner was able to leave as well.
These two practitioners’ selfless actions dissolved the evil.
Practitioners Feng and Gong (aliases) were arrested by the police when they were putting up truth-clarification stickers in July 2012. They were held in a detention center for ten days. The police were going to send Gong to a forced labor camp on the eleventh day. When we learned the news, more than fifty practitioners went to the detention center in the early morning to send forth righteous thoughts.
When the police car drove into the detention center and planned to take Gong to the forced labor camp, all the practitioners outside shouted in unison, “Falun Dafa is good!” repeatedly. Feng’s husband, who is in his sixties, lay down across the gate and wouldn’t allow the police car to pass.
At about 8 a.m. a police officer dragged Gong into the yard and was going to stuff her into a car. Gong didn’t cooperate and struggled to avoid being put in the car. The practitioners outside shouted, “Don’t persecute good people!” The police officer didn’t dare to act wildly in the open, and let Gong sit on the ground sending forth righteous thoughts. The practitioners outside shouted “Falun Dafa is good” repeatedly to dissolve the evil elements behind the police officer. Gong sat on the ground and sent forth righteous thoughts for two hours. Three police officers then carried her into the cell. The guard from the detention center said to the police officer, “If you are not able to do anything, then set her free. Nothing like this has ever happened before. The gate of the detention center is blocked. She is not a bad person. Why are you sending her to a forced labor camp?”
The police officer released Feng so that her husband would leave. But he still blocked the gate demanding Gong be released as well. The police officer rang the Domestic Security Division for help.
Several police officers and more than ten men in black uniforms arrived later. The officers entered the yard of the detention center. They started to take photos of the practitioners who were shouting “Falun Dafa is good” outside. The men in black uniforms stood beside the practitioners but didn’t do anything.
The practitioners kept shouting “Falun Dafa is good” for more than two hours. The police finally released Gong at around 10 a.m.
Several police officers came to practitioner Hai’s (alias) home. Hai’s sister-in-law blocked the door and wouldn’t let them enter. Several practitioners learned the news and went to Hai’s home. Dozens of people gathered outside his home. Among them were aggressive police officers, Falun Dafa practitioners, and neighbors. Many local practitioners who learned the news sent forth righteous thoughts to dissolve the evil elements behind the police officers.
One strong local police officer in plainclothes held Hai’s sister-in-law from behind and tried to remove her. She struggled and didn’t want to leave. Practitioner Jing (alias) ran over to them. She tried to pull back the police officer’s arm and loudly questioned him, “Why are you bullying a lady?” He looked back at Jing and released his hands. He didn’t dare to take further action. While the sister-in-law was blocking the door, Hai managed to get out from the window and ran away.
It is really powerful when one body acts and sends forth righteous thoughts together!
