(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 4 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Officers from Wei County Domestic Security Division and Nanliuzhuang Town Police Station, all in plainclothes, broke into practitioner Meizi’s (nickname) home on the morning of June 25, 2025. They searched the place and confiscated Falun Gong books.
The officers then broke into Mr. Bai Yuquan’s home and ransacked it. They confiscated a computer, a printer, and some cash. Both Mr. Bai and his wife were arrested. While Mr. Bai’s wife was released that day, Mr. Bai has been held in Wei County Detention Center.
After Mr. Zhai Maochen was arrested for distributing Falun Gong materials and sentenced to one and a half years in 2019, the authorities didn’t enforce the term right away. Six years later in June 2025, the police suddenly arrested him and took him to the Shandong Province Prison.
Practitioner Sun Shouxia, over 70, from Wenhugou Village, Beisijiazi Township, was arrested by officers from Changzai Township Police Station on May 13, 2025, after being reported for telling others about Falun Gong in a farmers market. After taking Sun to the Beisijiazi Police Station, the police ransacked his or her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials. Sun was released that evening.
