(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Mr. Yao Jianlu was arrested at work by officers from the Longkou City Police Department on the morning of July 18, 2025. The police ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books and three photos of Falun Gong’s founder. Mr. Yao was detained in the Zhangjiagou Detention Center.
The police ransacked Tian An’s home in Houtian Village at noon on July 18, 2025. They confiscated two photos of Falun Gong’s founder, several Minghui Weekly magazines, and a media player.
Ms. Chen Ji’e and her husband Mr. Chen Guicun were arrested at home at 10 p.m. on July 21, 2025, for hanging up banners about Falun Gong.
Ms. Zhang Zhenyi, 78, was scheduled to appear in the Xishan District Court on July 29, 2025.
Ms. Meng Yueqiu was arrested by officers from the Dujiangyan Police Station on May 7, 2025. She was scheduled to appear in the Dujiangyan City Court in late July 2025.
Ms. Yu Jianyun, 67, was arrested in early July 2025. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Zang Li was harassed on March 13, 2025, by residential committee staffers, who demanded to have photos of her from WeChat. She refused to comply, but her daughter sent an old photo of her mother, fearing possible retaliation.
Ms. Pang Lijuan was arrested at home by several officers from the Zhuhua Police Station on the afternoon of July 21, 2025. Her Falun Gong books were confiscated.
Du Xiaoxin, gender unknown, was arrested by officers from the Xiguan Police Station on July 16, 2025, while talking to people about Falun Gong in the Daxujia Residential Community. Du was detained in the Weifang City Detention Center.
Liu Xiaoguang, gender unknown, a teacher at Xiguan Junior High School, was ordered to renounce Falun Gong by the Beipiao City Education Bureau on July 10, 2025. It’s not clear whether Liu complied.
