(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Beijing] A Female Practitioner Arrested

A female practitioner was arrested by two police officers in Anzhenxili Residential Community at around 10 a.m. on September 17, 2025.

2. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Yang Xiaodong Arrested

Ms. Yang Xiaodong was arrested at home by 610 Office agents and officer Ma from the Changle West Road Police Station, who broke in at around 9 p.m. on September 16, 2025. Her current detention location is unknown.

3. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Chen Caiwang, Ms. Li Yun, Ms. Deng Liming, Mr. Zhong Xiaoming, Ms. Xiao Yuyan, and Ms. Wu Hanxiang were arrested on September 15, 2025. Ms. Xiao was released that day. The other five practitioners were held in the Chibi City Supervision Center. Mr. Chen was placed under custody for 13 days. Ms. Li, Ms. Deng, Mr. Zhong, and Ms. Wu were each given ten days of detention.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Guo Baoshi, Ms. Zu Liming, Chen Xiu (gender unknown), and Mr. Liu Yantao from Huanggu District were arrested on September 6, 2025. Mr. Guo, Chen, and Mr. Liu are being held in the Hunnan District Detention Center. Ms. Zu is being held in the Shenyang City First Detention Center.

5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cheng Yurong Held in Detention Center

Ms. Cheng Yurong, 76, gave some Falun Gong materials to a private car driver at Liujiaqiao Farmers’ Market on September 2, 2025, and the driver reported her to the police. She was arrested by officers from the Shaqu Police Station, who ransacked her home that afternoon. The police had assigned community personnel to follow her before her arrest. She is being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

6. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Duan Shuxia and Ms. Zhao Lihui Arrested

Ms. Duan Shuxia, in her 60s, and Ms. Zhao Lihui, about 75 years old, were arrested together on September 14, 2025, and are being held Nangou Detention Center.

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xiao Harassed Four Times

Ms. Xiao, first name unknown, was harassed three times by Dong Tao from the Danan Police Station, in early January, on January 23, and on February 18, 2025.

Dong and another officer showed up at Ms. Xiao’s home again on September 10, 2025. Her 86-year-old father, who was staying with her, did not open the door for them. Frightened due to repeated police harassment, he took a nasty fall, causing his teeth to loosen and bleed, and his mouth and half of his face to swell. He had a lot of pain while eating.
