(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Facing Trial

Five practitioners, including Ms. Gao Jingjie, Ms. Yao Chunxia, Ms. Wang Liufeng, Ms. Gao Baoli, and Zhang, were arrested by officers from the Binhe Police Station and Shenhe District Police Department in August and September 2025. Their homes were ransacked. They are now facing trial by the Dadong District Court.

2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Geng Fuxia Tortured While Serving an Eight-Year Term

Ms. Geng Fuxia is currently serving an eight-year term at the Hebei Province Women’s Prison. She was tortured by Kong Fanjin and another inmate for six weeks for refusing to renounce Falun Gong. They starved her by giving her only one steamed bun for each meal. They also beat her and pinched her fingers with needles.

3. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Wu Jinfang Detained

Ms. Wu Jinfang was arrested on November 2, 2025. The police installed a surveillance camera in her apartment after releasing her.

4. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Hu Jingxiu Serving Time in Prison

Ms. Hu Jingxiu was sentenced to three and a half years in prison in 2023. She is currently serving time in the Yang’ai Women’s Prison.

5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Shurong Harassed

Ms. Wang Shurong was harassed by two officers from the Shihe Town Police Station on December 17, 2025. They searched her home and videotaped her.

6. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Hualian Detained

Ms. Yang Hualian was followed and arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in mid-December 2025. Her home was ransacked. She is currently detained in the Deyang City Detention Center.

7. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Lina Sentenced to Four and a Half Years in Prison

Ms. Zhou Lina was sentenced to four and a half years in prison and fined 6,000 yuan. She appealed with the Jinzhou City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold the original verdict on May 14, 2025. She is still detained in the Jinzhou City Detention Center at present.

8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Shufeng Arrested

Ms. Xu Shufeng was arrested on October 16, 2025, while visiting another practitioner. The police took her home and ransacked her place, confiscating her Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, a cell phone, and a media player. She was taken to the Jincheng Police Station and released later that day.

9. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Xiuzhen and Ms. Yu Yuguo Harassed

Officers from the Daliangzhuang Police Station and village officials went to 85-year-old Ms. Wang Xiuzhen’s home to harass her on December 5, 2025. As she wasn’t in, they then harassed Ms. Yu Yuguo, 60, in the same village. Ms. Yu was videotaped and photographed against her will.

10. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gong Hua Released After More Than Two Years of Detention

Ms. Gong Hua was released on December 22, 2025, after being detained for over two years.

11. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Pingxia and Ms. Wang Suying Harassed

Ms. Li Pingxia was harassed at home by officers from the Beitian Township Police Station on December 18, 2025. She was photographed. Ms. Wang Suying from the same village was harassed at home the next day.

12. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shen Fan Detained

Mr. Shen Fan was arrested on November 21, 2025. He was detained in the Rizhao Detention Center and was released on December 22, 2025.
