(Minghui.org) A woman in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, was sentenced to four years in prison following an arrest in 2023 for her faith in Falun Gong, Minghui.org recently learned.

Ms. Liu Dequn, in her 60s, was initially arrested in early March 2023 for distributing Falun Gong informational materials and for talking to people about the persecution. Officers from the Ximatan Police Station and Honghuagang District Domestic Security Office ransacked her home. She was held at the Nanbai Lockup for 15 days.

Ms. Liu was arrested again on May 9, 2023, also for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was held at the Zunyi City Second Detention Center and sentenced to four years at an unknown time. She is now serving time at the Guizhou Province First Women’s Prison.
