(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 4 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Wang Yuzhen was reported to the police when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on the street on March 31, 2026. She was arrested by officers from Piaotun Police Station and has been detained since.
Ms. Chen Huanxian was harassed at home by six officers from Zaoshi Police Station on March 30, 2026. They attempted to take photos of her, which she refused. They instead took pictures of her home.
Ms. Tao Xueling was arrested by members of Huancui District Political Security Division, as soon as she stepped out of her home on the morning of March 26, 2026. They ransacked her home, confiscating a desktop computer, a laptop, three printers, a paper cutter, a stapler, Falun Gong books, printed materials, USB drives, amulets, pendants, and Falun Gong informational banners.
Ms. Tao was taken to the Chengli Police Station and released on bail that evening, after her family paid a 5,000-yuan bond.
Practitioner Zhang Hua was arrested on August 7, 2023, and later sentenced to one year and ten months in prison. Zhang was released on June 6, 2025.
