(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Wang Yaping was scheduled to appear in the Hunnan District Court on April 1, 2026.
Ms. Huang Shuxian was arrested on February 28, 2026, for posting Falun Gong flyers. The police ransacked her home and seized her Falun Gong printouts. She was given 12 days of detention. Instead of releasing her on March 12, the police extended her detention, with the charge of “undermining law enforcement with a cult organization,” the standard pretext used to criminalize Falun Gong. Her case has been submitted to a local procuratorate, but the authorities have refused to tell her family which one.
Mr. Gong Huimin was arrested in early February 2026, for posting Falun Gong information online.
Ms. Xiu Junhuan was arrested on March 23, 2026, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Officers from the Longkou City Domestic Security Division and the Shiliang Police Station ransacked her home and seized her calendars and printouts containing Falun Gong information. She was released on bail in the afternoon.
Ms. Zhu Yumei of Harbin City was arrested on March 24, 2026, at her son’s home in Jinan City, Shandong Province.
Ms. Wu Mingzhi was arrested on September 1, 2025. Her home was ransacked and she was released on residential surveillance. The police later submitted her case to the Huayuan County Procuratorate. Captain Ma Jun and three officers from the Domestic Security Division office scaled her fence and broke into her home on March 11, 2026. They first took her to their office and then to the procuratorate for deposition.
Ms. Song Yuling was arrested on March 21, 2026. She is being held at the Jimo Detention Center.
