(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 4 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Zhang Shuli was arrested by officers from Gulinli Police Station while on her way home at around 8 p.m. on July 5, 2026. The police ransacked her home twice that evening. They claimed that someone had been photographed putting up a banner that read, “The CCP is a cult,” and they suspected that the person was Ms. Zhang. She was interrogated and given 15 days of administrative detention in the Beitang Lockup.
Ms. Fu Qiurong was arrested on July 6, 2026, and her home was ransacked. The police claimed she was recorded by surveillance cameras mailing a letter about Falun Gong. She managed to escape from the police station, but the police tracked her down and arrested her the following evening.
Ms. Luo Meiling has been harassed by officers from the Jiulong Police Station and the Jiaotan Village Committee. They followed and monitored her, tapped her phone, and secretly videotaped her.
Ms. Li Zhifen was released from the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on July 7, 2026. She was arrested at home by Gucheng Police Station officers on the evening of August 14, 2022, and sentenced by Xingcheng City Court to four years in prison with a 2,000-yuan fine on September 27, 2022.
