2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Hongyan and Practitioner Cao Arrested
3. [Shan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Juan Tried
4. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Rongxin Faces Trial

Mr. Li Rongxin, 71, was scheduled to appear at the Dadong District Court on August 6, 2026.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Hongyan and Practitioner Cao Arrested

Ms. Wang Hongyan and another practitioner surnamed Cao were arrested on July 29, 2026, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

3. [Shan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Juan Tried

Ms. Wu Juan was tried by a local court on July 16, 2026. She testified in her own defense and argued that she didn’t violate any law in practicing Falun Gong.

4. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners who were reading a Falun Gong book together were arrested at around 8 p.m. on July 6, 2026, by eight officers from the Xiwanzi Town Police Station. The practitioners’ homes were ransacked, and they were interrogated. All five were released after a brief detention.
