(Minghui.org) Shortly after I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997, Master Li eliminated my karma. I was free of illness and energized. I used to be introverted and timid and had almost no contact with the outside world. Through group Fa-study and reading Zhuan Falun, Master dissolved my attachments, and I came to understand that the purpose of human existence is to return to one’s true self. My fear disappeared.
In July 1999, Jiang Zemin, former leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), mobilized the entire state apparatus and launched the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa. A few practitioners and I went to Beijing to appeal for justice. We left home in a rush and were unprepared. We did not prepare a banner, and we did not coordinate with practitioners in Beijing. We intended to visit the National Appeals Office, but we heard that every practitioner who went there was intercepted by the CCP officials and sent home. In the end we were unable to visit the office.
After I returned home, I was arrested and illegally detained for over a month simply for going to Beijing. The other practitioners were also persecuted. Some were sentenced to prison, while others were sentenced to forced labor.
My family was under immense pressure. They were afraid I’d be persecuted again, so they watched me closely and forbade me from leaving home or contacting other practitioners. The personnel from the neighborhood committee and local police station frequently came to harass me, so my family lived in a constant state of anxiety and fear.
I felt deeply distressed and wondered why it was so hard to be a good person. Then I reminded myself that I am a Dafa practitioner and I have Master and the Fa. I began memorizing the Fa every day, which brought me clarity and strength. I was determined that no matter how difficult the circumstances, I would never give up my cultivation practice nor waver in my faith in Master and the Fa.
To stay in touch with fellow practitioners, I seized every opportunity to go outside. Surprisingly, even during a ten-minute walk, I often met other practitioners, and I obtained Master’s new articles, Minghui Weekly, and truth-clarifying booklets. I was overjoyed, yet I wondered how this kept happening. I realized that Master does not want to leave behind any practitioners, so he constantly watches over and helps us. I am deeply grateful to compassionate Master!
After I read Master’s new articles and the truth-clarifying booklets, I realized that the CCP fabricated the “Tiananmen Square self-immolation” incident and the “1,400 deaths” cases to frame Falun Dafa and deceive the public. When people do not understand the truth and follow the CCP to commit crimes against Dafa, they are at the brink of destruction. Practitioners have a great responsibility to let people know the facts. A fellow practitioner began picking up materials from another area and dropping off 30 to 50 copies each week. I distributed them in my neighborhood.
Overcoming my fear day by day, I expanded my efforts to distribute more truth-clarification materials, including the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, DVDs, and posters. Sometimes I traveled to the countryside to distribute them to more people. I contributed 50 yuan each month from my savings to help fellow practitioners buy supplies for projects to validate the Fa. Although it was a small amount, my own living expenses were quite tight. It was my heartfelt way of doing my part: I wanted people to learn the facts and be saved.
Minghui.org encouraged us to establish material production sites to blossom everywhere like flowers. I had the opportunity to participate in running one. We produced Dafa books for fellow practitioners, the Nine Commentaries, DVDs, booklets, posters, hanging ornaments and Dafa amulets. Master gave me wisdom, and I was able to handle the tasks with ease. In addition, working with other practitioners, I delivered these materials to people’s homes and vehicles.
Producing materials requires a large amount of equipment and supplies, and practitioners contributed in various ways. Some provided funds, while some offered labor or technical expertise. I purchased supplies, which was something completely new to me. When I was unsure where to start, I decided to study the Fa. Dafa gave me the wisdom, courage and confidence to do the job well.
I worked with practitioner Qing to purchase printer supplies in another city. She said that all of her illnesses disappeared after she began practicing Falun Dafa, and she no longer had a hot temper. Her daughter, who also practiced, was very supportive of her production work. She arranged a workspace, printers and computers.
I rarely traveled far from home or interacted with others before. Qing took me to purchase all the necessary supplies, and we went to her place to produce the truth-clarification materials. I was deeply touched by my fellow practitioners’ selfless dedication.
With encouragement and help of fellow practitioners, I gradually gained confidence, and I was eventually able to handle purchasing supplies. Initially I could only buy one or two boxes of paper, but now I’m able to smoothly purchase 10 to 20 boxes. I also handled other supplies such as paper cutters, laminators, laminating film, and printer ink. All of this was new to me, yet I felt no fear or anxiety because I’m a practitioner.
Everyone reminded me that since Master strengthens us when we produce truth-clarifying materials to save sentient beings, there is nothing to fear. I researched online for how to do the entire end-to-end process, including how to purchase supplies. We brought them to the production site, and afterwards distributed the finished materials. Local practitioners coordinated seamlessly, and we produced materials under Master’s protection.
Our team established and ensured our daily routine of studying one lecture of Zhuan Falun and sending forth righteous thoughts, before we began making materials. The practitioners at our production site cultivate diligently and coordinate well. Everyone was also very tolerant of my shortcomings. I am deeply grateful for the great cultivation environment and the other practitioners’ invaluable support.
Our local production site has operated smoothly for over 10 years with practitioners’ collaboration as a whole. We all know Master is protecting us every step of the way.
I will continue to do the three things well, walk steadily on the cultivation path arranged by Master, and follow Master home.
