(Minghui.org) My name is Quan Quan and I am eight years old. I would like to participate in cultivation experience sharing. This article is being polished by my paternal grandmother. I started to cultivate Falun Dafa in 2024.

When I was only a few months old, my grandmother would hold me in my bedroom and as soon as I saw Zhuan Falun, the main text of Falun Dafa, I would intentionally grab the Falun symbol in the book and happily heshi, putting my palms together, to show my respect for Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa. My grandmother would wrap Zhuan Falun up in a piece of cloth since she was worried that I might rip out the pages. My grandmother took care of me in the suburbs, while my parents worked in the city. My grandparents took care of me on the weekends when I started to attend preschool in the city.

My grandparents are veteran Falun Dafa practitioners who started to cultivate in Falun Dafa in 1997. The television that we had at home only had access to channels with New Tang Dynasty Television programs. In addition, my grandmother downloaded Minghui children’s programs such as Chuan Chuan’s Adventures, Katharina’s Wish, Story of Yaya, Angel’s Home, and Breaking Free from Internet Addiction. I’ve also watched the movie Once We Were Divine many times.I also read Between Heaven and Earth and Mythological Stories of Future People. I like to watch Minghui programs that were created for either children or adults. At bedtime or while playing at home, my grandmother plays music from Minghui.org.

Master said,

“Disciple: How about the matter of young disciples playing video games?

Master: Video games are really harmful to people, and not just Dafa disciples’ kids. They really draw people in, and have had a negative effect on everyday people as well. They make you do poorly in your work, sleep poorly, rest poorly, and make you devoid of human affection or warmth of feeling, make you neglect your family, make students neglect their studies, and entice you and draw you in. They are contributing to humankind’s destruction. In order to promote video games, those business people constantly come up with new kinds and hype them up on a large scale. What are people to do after they’ve created such an enormous amount of karma? They are corrupting humankind.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2014 San Francisco Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XIII)

I read this part of Master’s lecture many times and even memorized it during the COVID-19 pandemic. I followed Master’s teachings and did not touch cellphones. Sometimes my preschool teacher would send homework to my mother’s phone. I’d complete my homework and return the cellphone to my mother promptly.

I began to study Zhuan Falun with my grandmother during the summer when school was on break. I could only read small paragraphs in the beginning. I gradually progressed to reading larger paragraphs, a whole page, and eventually an entire section. There were many Chinese characters I did not recognize but with Master’s blessing, I was able to remember them all. My grandmother even praised me for pronouncing the tones correctly when I read.

After we read the first lecture of Zhuan Falun, my parents came to pick me up to return to the city. My grandmother reminded my parents to finish reading Zhuan Falun. She also gave my parents two copies of the book. I then studied the Fa with my parents during the weekdays, as they would help me with words I did not recognize.

I read up to lecture eight in Zhuan Falun in January 2025. My grandmother and I made use of time to study the Fa. I finally finished reading Zhuan Falun during the Chinese New Year and also watched Master’s instructional exercise videos while learning how to practice all five sets of Falun Dafa exercises.

School reopened on February 13 and I finished reading Zhuan Falun for the second time. I became more fluent reading the book the second time around. I studied the Fa with my parents and grandparents during the evenings, and before returning to the city, I promised my grandmother that I’d finish reading Zhuan Falun once every month.

I really enjoy studying the Fa. Iread the book for 30 minutes every time, either before my nap or before bedtime. Since I had the heart to study the Fa, Master enlightened me by teaching me the Chinese characters in Zhuan Falun. Now, there are very few words in the book that I do not recognize. I am able to study the Fa independently. While writing this cultivation experience article, I have finished reading Zhuan Falun for the eighth time. I’ve also studied all six books of Hong Yin, from Hong Yin to Hong Yin VI.

I clarified the truth to my classmates and told them, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” They were very happy to hear about Dafa.

I have been in great health since I’ve been studying the Fa. Before, my throat would hurt for many days and would have a fever and rhinitis whenever the seasons changed. However, after studying the Fa for a year, all of my ailments disappeared and I do not need to take any medication or have injections.

I accidentally fell down the stairs one time in preschool. Luckily, my teacher caught me and she got quite frightened by it. I was completely fine and had no injuries. She asked if I was hurting and I told her I was completely fine. My mother came to pick me up after school and my teacher reminded my mother to check on me after getting home.

One time, my mother picked me up from after school and took me to her company. My mother’s colleague saw me and picked me up by my hands. He started to twirl me around in circles. I did not hold on well and fell on the concrete. My knees were scraped and he took me into mother’s office. He went to the pharmacy to get some medication and when he returned, my ankles had started to swell up. I was in so much pain that I was crying. My parents took me to the hospital for a checkup and wanted to see if anything was broken. It turned out that everything was fine. I went to my grandmother’s house and everything healed in four days.

I knew that Master was protecting me. My grandmother wrote Chinese New Year’s greetings to Master and I said, “Grandma, I want to send greetings to Master too!”

My grandmother said, “Yes, of course! Tell me what you want to say.”

I said, “Happy Chinese New Year, Master! Master, you are most magnificent! Thank you for all you do for us!”

My grandmother said, “I’ve successfully uploaded your greetings!”
