(Clearwisdom.net) After the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crimes of removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners were exposed and a Canadian independent investigation report was published, I recalled some of the things I experienced when I was imprisoned by the CCP.
"Special" Physical Examination
From June 25 to November 29, 2000, I was illegally detained at the detention center of the Xicheng District Police Department in Beijing with many other Falun Gong practitioners. The police used small tables in the prison hallway to conduct physical examinations on Falun Gong practitioners. All practitioners were forced to have their blood pressure and heart checked. The police did not give physical examinations to any other detainees. The Chinese Communist Party arrested and tortured Falun Gong practitioners, but at the same time, they especially "cared about" the Falun Gong practitioners' health. All the practitioners at the time felt that this was very strange.
Under Escort of Five Police Officers, I Was Sent for a Physical Examination
On the early morning of July 18, 2000, my feet and hands were shackled and I was pushed into a police vehicle and driven to the Qinghe First-Aid Center in Beijing. Unexpectedly, five police officers (four men and one woman), and a deputy chief of the detention center, showed up. The deputy chief went into a room and came out with a few lab test sheets. They wanted to draw my blood to do a lab test. I was very healthy. Why would they want to do a blood test on me? I firmly refused.
There were many people in the hospital hall at that time. I shouted loudly to them, "I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I have no illness. They forcibly extracted my blood. They violated my human rights. They broke the law. I will sue them." Suddenly many people gathered around. A male police officer brandished an electric baton to drive the crowd away. He yelled, "Gets out of the way! Do not look!" Two police officers grabbed my legs and two grabbed my arms to carry me to the third floor. They passed through two iron gates with locks and carried me to a secret hospital room used by the police department. They threw me on a bed at the left side of the door. A female nurse came in pushing a cart. She picked up a needle and tried to draw my blood. I refused to allow this and struggled. I shouted loudly, "You are forcibly extracting my blood. You are breaking the law. I will sue you no matter where I go! I am a Falun Gong practitioner. I do not have any illness. You cannot extract my blood." I tried my best to let the people outside the secret room hear me. I did not know where my strength came from at that time as my voice was very loud. The nurse was shocked. She could not draw my blood and had to leave.
Tortured and Injected with Unknown Drugs
The police were extremely angry. They twisted my arms over my head and handcuffed them to the iron frame of the bed. They shackled my feet to the iron frame under the bed, stretching my body. I could not move. Whenever I moved, the handcuffs became tighter and finally dug into my wrists. The police forcibly injected an unknown drug into me. This torture lasted for ten hours, from morning to night. My whole body was very cold and I could not help shaking even though it was the middle of summer.
A Questionable Situation
A young male police officer said to me, "We already paid for all the lab tests. It was very expensive! I have never had the chance to do this kind of physical examination. Even if you don't want the examination, I want to go through with it. Otherwise it will be a waste of money." At that time I just thought that his words were absurd. I thought that the government would regularly provide free physical examinations for the police. Why would they want an opportunity to do a physical examination on me? Now that I look back on it, I find the whole situation to be very questionable.
1) They did the physical examination not because they cared about my health. During my illegal detention, my basic living conditions were denied and they brutally tortured me. Why would they spend a lot of money on a physical examination for me when I was very healthy?
2) The lab test sheets listed some tests that not even the police had conducted before. This means that my lab test was not the regular test. What was their motive if they did some uncommon tests on Falun Gong practitioners? I now understand that the tests were related to the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Moreover, the instructions must have come from the higher-level authorities. Even the young police officer in the base unit may not have known about it.
3) The funds for the detention center at the police sub-bureau level are usually very limited. They cannot pay for expensive lab tests. That explained why the money to do the physical examination came from the higher authorities' special fund. This special fund is used to commit the crime of removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
4) The police department's detention center has this special secret room in the first-aid center of the hospital. The police and hospital coordinate closely to commit their crimes. It is a coordinated system which makes the organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners possible.
The Whereabouts of Many Practitioners Who Appealed in Beijing Are Unknown
When I was illegally detained in the Xicheng District Detention Center in Beijing, I saw that many Falun Gong practitioners who went to Beijing or Tiananmen Square to appeal for justice were arrested and sent to this detention center. Most of them were from outside areas. Most of them refused to provide their names and addresses because the CCP will persecute everyone associated with Falun Gong practitioners, including their family members, relatives and colleagues. These people might be fired or forced to quit school. As practitioners do not want to bring trouble to others, they refused to provide their names and addresses. This is completely due to the persecution. The police numbered all the practitioners as "Falun Gong # xxx." There were more than 200 practitioners in the prison district where I was detained. After one or two weeks, they were all transferred out. Then new practitioners were sent to this place and given numbers.
The practitioners who only had numbers but did not give their names and addresses lost the protection from their family and society. In this situation, the CCP could commit crimes more easily and unscrupulously.
For example, there was a 20-year-old female practitioner with fair skin and a long braid. She was a painter and her parents were also painters. In order not to implicate her family members, she did not tell her name and address. The police beat and kicked her severely.
One day, she was called out of the prison room and did not come back. I hoped she was released back home. But a person who was detained at the detention center and had the chance to work outside the room said, "It is not possible. The police do not know her name and address. How could they send her back home? I saw the police handcuff her with another Falun Gong practitioner and take them away."
The Falun Gong practitioners that were numbered were transferred away in great numbers. Nobody knows their whereabouts. Most likely, they were sent to death camps and became the victims of the CCP's organ harvesting.
Right now I realize that all the blood tests and physical examinations the CCP did to Falun Gong practitioners were part of the crime of removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners!
