(Clearwisdom.net) "Recall that earlier generations faced down communism and fascism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions," President Barack Obama said in his inaugural speech.
However, President Obama's speech suffered some distortions in translation on Chinese websites controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)--such as the Xinhua website, where Mr. Obama's references to communism were cut. Another CCP mouthpiece, CCTV's news channel, broadcasted the inauguration live. However, when the interpreter translated the sentence, "Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism," her voice was immediately muted, and the camera suddenly switched to the unready and unsuspecting hostess.
In addition to Xinhua, Sina, Sohu and Netease also cut the word "communism". Some other websites even cut another paragraph of Mr. Obama's speech. The President said, "To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist." This paragraph was also cut by some websites.
Such deception by the CCP's media showcases the CCP's fear. Since the publication of "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party", this book has been widely read in China. More and more people in China have become aware of the CCP's crime-ridden history and evil nature. Millions of people have renounced the CCP and its affiliated organizations on a website with aliases or pseudonyms. During these days when Heaven is poised to eliminate the CCP, the Communist Party has become super-sensitive, and dares not listen to any criticism.
The American president's inaugural speech is world famous, yet the CCP still cut out parts of it. From this, one can imagine what lies the CCP tells about Falun Gong, which the CCP has always done everything possible to eradicate. When the CCP lies unscrupulously, the victims are all the Chinese people, who are coming to realize that the CCP and its media are the root cause of their suffering.
The websites controlled by the CCP also cut Mr. Obama's words, "To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent." The CCP mouthpieces censorship of these words displays plainly that they will not "unclench their fist," but rather that they will continue to stand "on the wrong side of history."
