(Clearwisdom.net) Vienna, home of the waltz, the beautiful Blue Danube, and the Vienna choirboys, welcomed Shen Yun Performing Arts. Enthusiastic audience members were more than happy to talk about their impressions of the Shen Yun Performing Arts show at the Vienna Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria after the Sunday matinee on April 5.
Retired banker Mr. Millerai and his friends were impressed by Shen Yun. Mr. Millerai commented on the disciplined precision of the dances, saying it was "absolutely marvelous."

He found the music to be "fantastic, especially the erhu [a two-stringed Chinese instrument], especially since this instrument could bring forth so many different melodies. In Europe we have the violin, but it does not elicit that many different tonal scales. It [the erhu] is just like the entire orchestra. It is an instrument that could represent an entire orchestra."
When Mr. Millerai was told that Shen Yun would be in Vienna every year with different programs, he said that he would definitely visit next year's show. His friends also shared their comments on the show.
One of the ladies said, "Such a show comes deep from within the soul, and one feels if one truly has the talent, if one has the opportunity to use this gift, one has to take the opportunity under all circumstances. It is a gift from God."
She was as very taken with the Shen Yun dancers, "because everything worked in such great harmony, unbelievably graceful and at the same time displayed great power. Everyone danced very well."
"I must say that I'm totally thrilled. I will come to see the show again. Immediately. I am a full supporter of the show," she said.
"It was beautiful," said another one of the ladies. "I am totally enthralled by it. I immersed myself into the show. I felt as if I were on stage with the artists. I only wished that I could dance as gracefully as the artists. One can feel that it comes from within. This is a wish that comes from my heart. I always wanted to be a dancer. But, I could never achieve what the wonderful men and women on stage [today] have shown us." She concluded, "I have experienced perfection."
Pellegrini Family truly enjoyed the performance
The Pellegrini family were among those who were drawn to the Shen Yun performance and who were thrilled to be in the audience. Mr. Pellegrini, head of a media and marketing agency, said, "Besides the artistic rendition, I also was impressed with the spiritual message, the connection between heaven and earth, and that there is an interchange between the two. One can climb down from heaven," he said, and then added with a big smile, "and naturally climb back up again!"

"I believe that the different cultures and religions come from the same background. This could be recognized rather well during this show," Mr. Pellegrini said.
Mrs. Pellegrini, a dancer who also heads a children's dance group, described the dances as "without equal when it comes to gracefulness."
The Pellegrini's brought two of their three children to the show. "I favored the dances and the colors. It was remarkable," said 12-year-old Miss Pellegrini.
"A feast for the eyes and ears"
Mr. Harbich, a chief accountant from Vienna, has seen the show for the second time. "I was so deeply impressed with the show last year that I asked friends to come and enjoy the show with me this year. I wanted them to see it with me," Mr. Harbich said.

Ms. Lepper, Ms. Rebitschek, and Ms. Weippl, accompanied Mr. Harbich to the show. About the show Ms. Lepper said, "He told us the truth! It was a feast for the eyes and ears."
Ms. Weippl said, "We learned about Falun Gong during a wellness fair in Vienna's suburb Neustadt [New Town]. We watched a performance and also were given a newspaper and learned that the practitioners of this practice are persecuted in China, and that it is banned. So, we knew about it beforehand."
"Very good, wonderful! Also the texts were very interesting." By "the texts," they referred to the translations of the songs displayed on the backdrop. "Yes, there is a message. For me, the message is redemption. It tells me to practice it, to have love [for ones compatriots], and be without hatred and without being vicious," Mr. Harbich shared.
Ms. Weippl followed Mr. Harbich's words, "For me, what I understood was salvation and reincarnation. This thing speaks to me, and it is completely in line with our thinking."
Mr. Harbich added, "Yes, that is it, we are completely convinced about this. And, I must say, what I liked most in the show was that with each and every one of the artists, I get the feeling that they are truly immersed into what they are showing to the audience. Everyone dances with deep feelings and is completely in tune with what he or she is depicting. One can see that. It is completely clear for the audience to see. It comes across quite strongly."
