(Clearwisdom.net) On April 29, 2009, Ms. Cui Honghua, Ms. Jin Ying'ai, Ms. Huang Meihua, and Ms. Chi Yingshu, from Yanji City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, were "illegally sentenced" to forced labor by the Yanji City Police Department. They were later taken to the notorious Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City.
This year, on April 25 and May 13, two of the Communist regime's so-called "sensitive days," officers from the Yanji City Neighborhood Administration Office and local police station, along with officers from other local communities, used the excuse of "checking everyone's residence IDs" to harass, terrorize, and monitor Falun Gong practitioners.
On April 15, 2009, Ms. Cui Honghua, in her late thirties, was illegally arrested at home. A computer, printer, and other personal items of hers were confiscated by officers from the Yanji City Domestic Security Division. The next day, Ms. Jin Ying'ai, Ms. Huang Meihua, Ms. Chi Yingshu, and Jin were arrested by officers from the Yanji City National Security Division. Ms. Chi was sentenced to forced labor.
Ms. Chi's husband, Mr. Huang Kuixi, passed away on September 25, 2008 as a result of the persecution. He remained steadfast in his belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Ms. Chi was later arrested again and taken to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, even though she had not yet recovered from the pain and grief of losing her husband.
Among the Korean practitioners in the Yanbian Region, there are many elderly women. The reason they practice Falun Gong is clear and simple: they want to obtain a healthy body and mind.
For over ten years now, the Chinese Communist Party has persecuted Dafa practitioners using every despicable means available. Many of the senior practitioners in the Yanbian Region have been arrested, detained, and sentenced to forced labor.
