(Clearwisdom.net) It is again time when elementary school students are directed to join the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Young Pioneers organization. As a practitioner, handling this issue is, in fact, a test to see if you can remove the attachment of fear.
My child is in the third grade. He has already faced this problem, as my husband, who doesn't practice Falun Gong said, "Let him join and he can withdraw later." But I didn't want him to join. Fortunately my child has been practicing with me since he was very young and he was determined not to join any CCP organization.
When his teacher asked him to pay the membership fee, our child didn't pay and told his teacher that he didn't want to join. Meanwhile, we sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. I went to his teacher and asked politely, "Teacher, may I ask whether joining the organization is a voluntary decision?" The teacher said without hesitation, "Of course it is voluntary." I said, "Since it's voluntary, we don't want him to join. Nowadays people are withdrawing from all of the Party organizations. We have our own beliefs, so we don't want to him to join." The teacher was truly surprised by my statements. He only said, "Oh," then hurriedly left for the class.
When our son was in the second grade, every morning someone was at the school entrance to inspect the students, checking to see if they were wearing their red badges, indicating membership in the organization. Students who didn't wear them were made to stand up as punishment. In addition, his class would get a lower score. Because my child didn't want his class to have a lower score, he always ran into school when the inspector wasn't looking. He couldn't walk into school with dignity. Later his teacher again tried to convince me to let our son join. I said, "Since it's voluntary, we don't want to join." Seeing that we were very determined, he didn't come to our home to talk about the issue again.
When I looked within, I saw that if my child could not walk into the school with dignity, that meant we still had the attachment of fear. We sent forth righteous thoughts to thoroughly eliminate the evil spirits of the CCP and all evil factors in the school. We should not fear the evil specter. It should fear us!
Later my child said, "Mom, now I can walk into school without any fear. The teachers and students who are in charge no longer remember me. Sometimes, when other students want to write down my name, the teacher tells them not to do so in the future." Therefore, even though he doesn't wear the red badge, he no longer faces the issue of been punished. Other students are jealous of him and say, "If we had known earlier, we would not have joined either."
The above is my understanding. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
