(Minghui.org) Mr. Sun Shibin from Changchun City, Jilin Province was arrested shortly after the persecution began in 1999. He was brutally tortured while held at various labor camps. He never recovered from the torture-induced complications and died on November 9, 2016, at age 60.

Mr. Sun Shibin was a model teacher at the secondary school. He has been illegally detained and sent for forced labor where he was nearly tortured to death. He still has scars and injuries on his body caused by the tortures he suffered. His school has also stripped him of his right to teach.
