Case Description:
Baicheng Dafa practitioner Wu Lianjie was tortured to death by police in Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province. On the night of August 19, 2001, Wu Lianjie was arrested while distributing literature that clarified the truth about Falun Dafa. An insider disclosed that an eyewitness saw a body falling head first from the fifth floor early in the morning of August 20, 2001. At the time, someone looked down from upstairs but didn't show any surprise in his facial expression. Experts analyzing the situation suspect that the police probably beat Wu Lianjie to death or to the point of death and then, in order to shirk responsibility, threw her down from the fifth floor so as to make it look like a case of suicide.
