Zhao Wenyu was a Falun Gong practitioner in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. She had been arrested many times for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and validating Falun Dafa. During detention, she suffered torture, brutal beatings and mental torment from coercive brainwashing. On February 3, 2004, when trying to escape illegal arrest by the police, she fell from a building. More than 20 days later, Yuqiang Police Station in Shijiazhuang City ordered her family to come to the police station to identify her body.
