Case Description:

(Minghui.org) Mr. Zhu Shizhen was a farmer from Huangma Township, Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province.


He was arrested two more times in February 2001 and December 2003. The police ransacked his home both times and then sent him to Nanchang Labor Camp, where he was tortured and force fed. The police continued to harass and monitor him after he was released in March 2004.


Mr. Zhu was arrested again while visiting a friend on September 23, 2004. He was held at Huangmaxiang Police Station for an unknown amount of time.


Two days after he was sent back home, Mr. Zhu became mentally disoriented and confused. He passed away on December 7, 2004. His family suspected that the police may have put toxic drugs in his food or injected him with unknown drugs while in police custody.
