Case Description:
Mr. Liu Qinghua from Siping City, Jilin Province, was a cancer patient before he practiced Falun Gong. The practice saved his life, and he continued to practice Falun Dafa despite the persecution. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) arrested him because he distributed materials that published the facts about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution. He was sentenced to three years in prison and subjected to torture and brainwashing at Panjin Prison. His health deteriorated while in prison due to the abuse he was subjected to. On December 31, 2008, Panjin Prison released Mr. Liu on medical parole. He died on February 23, 2009, at the age of 47.
