Xu Congxin, a 60-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Ankang Village, Xima Township, was arrested on May 14, 2001 by personnel from the Kaixian Town Police Station. He was sentenced to a term of forced labor. Xu Congxin passed away on July 19, 2003 as a result of all the inhumane tortures he suffered at the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp.
