Case Description:
Ms. Mao Yali, over 40, was a practitioner from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. In 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. The Xiangfang district police took her back to Harbin City. She was later sent to a mental hospital and was injected with unknown drugs. She also suffered brainwashing in the mental hospital. She died within a few months of her detainment.
