Case Description:
Mr. Pan Zheng, 53 years old, was a practitioner from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. His wife is also a practitioner and refused to write the "guarantee letter" to renounce practicing Falun Gong. In 2002, after 9 o'clock in the evening, staff from the local neighborhood administrative committee, his work unit, and the local police station often came to his home to harass his family. Due to the frequent harassment and persecution, he could not live a normal life. Mr. Pan died on January 12, 2004.
