[Beijing] Observations on October 8 at Tiananmen Square
October 8 was a sunny day, yet Tiananmen Square was filled with an atmosphere of terror Jiang Zemin was still persecuting Dafa practitioners, and the cruelty of the persecution even stunned the tourists.
To the north of the People's Heroes Monument on the square, a police van rushed into the crowd and police jumped off the van. The police forcefully dragged 4 or 5 women into the van. When one woman showed her reluctance to get into the van, 3 or 4 policemen went up, struck and kicked her, and then dragged her by her hair to push her into the van. On the northeast corner of the square, some plainclothes agents spotted several people sitting on the stairs close to a street lamp and suspected they were Falun Gong practitioners. The agents then used two-way radios to call in a minivan and forced those people into the van to take them away. On a shaded lane east of the square, two policemen suspected that the 6-7 people sitting on the ground were Falun Gong practitioners. They called in a police van and forcefully took these people away. It was quite often that several police vans rushed to different sections of the square at the same time to take away people they suspected as Falun Gong practitioners. Uniformed police, armed police, and plainclothes agents were densely deployed on Tiananmen Square to ruthlessly examine, interrogate and search the people they suspected as Falun Gong practitioner.
I observed these events happening from 11:00am to 12:30pm. It's not known what kind of cruel treatments these detainees will face.

During the National Day, a large amount of Dafa flyers telling the truth of Falun Gong appeared on the streets of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. Some flyers were even posted on the gates of the police stations.
[Hefei] Police in Hefei used nerve-damaging drugs on determined Falun Gong practitioners
Since the personnel of the central government supervising Falun Gong arrived at Hefei City, Anhui Province. Falun Gong practitioners detained in the Hefei Female Prison began displaying abnormal behaviors. According to internal sources from the police, they mixed nerve-damaging drugs into meals and served them to determined Falun Gong practitioners.
The police took those drugged practitioners out of the prison and showed them to Falun Gong practitioners outside. When the practitioners witnessed their abnormal mental state, they were confused and shocked.
[Beijing] Tuanhe labor camp deprived Falun Gong practitioners of sleep for more than 10 days.
The Tuanhe labor camp in Beijing tried to forcefully convert determined practitioners who refused to write guarantee letters, repentance letters, or other materials by not allowing them to sleep, for more than 10 days. Normally, a person would go crazy after 9 consecutive days without sleep. It is unbelievable that such an extremely brutal practice is still occurring in the 21st century.
We pay our highest respects to the practitioners who have gone through such harsh tribulations.
[Guangzhou] On the afternoon of October 7th, practitioners Xie Xuewen and Xie Yan took several hundred copies of materials containing the true facts of Dafa and distributed them to the public. Later, they were found and sent to the police. At 3:00am on October 8, the police searched Xie Xuewen's work unit. So far, the situation of the two practitioners remains unknown.
Nowadays, many practitioners in Guangzhou are spreading the truth to the public. Please pay attention to the methods used and fully take advantage of both individual and collective strength and wisdom.
[China] In August of this year, in order to let other practitioners read Teacher's new books in time, a practitioner in a city contributed money and equipment to print the books and distributed them to practitioners for free. Later, secret agents tailed the practitioner. More than 20 policemen surrounded his home and arrested him. They also illegally confiscated his computer, printing equipment, copying machine and printer, as well as cash, deposits, etc. which amounted to more than RMB 30,000. In addition, police also took away his newly purchased minivan, cellular phone and copying paper which were all worth more than RMB 200,000.
[Chengdu] Chen Songbo, a practitioner in his 50's from Chengdu, went to Beijing to appeal to the central government and to tell his personal cultivation experience of Falun Dafa to the government this June. Recently, he was sentenced to two and half years in a labor camp by the Chengdu police and is now detained in Chengdu Dayan Farm.
[Shandong] All practitioners sentenced to labor camp in Shandong are now sent to Wangcun Labor Camp in Zibo for collective conversion. Their families are not allowed to visit them; clothes and provisions can only be sent to them by mail.
