Denmark is a small and remote country, located in Northern Europe. Dafa was introduced there not long ago. Not only do people come here to practice on weekends, but there is also a group of genuine cultivators. In this group, Western practitioners outnumber Chinese practitioners.
Almost all of the Danish practitioners attended the United Nations Summit in New York. International activities were frequent in the first half of last year, because it was a special historical time for Dafa. It was an intense time for promoting the Fa. In order to attend the Summit, Danish practitioners overcame all kinds of difficulties. Some practitioners who were short of money even borrowed money and traveled a very long distance to the United States.
It was an unforgettable week, attending the conference, promoting the Fa and protecting the Fa in New York. Practitioners from all over the world formed a strong and righteous field and Danish practitioners joined the ranks, "validating the Fa with reason, clarifying the truth with wisdom, spreading the Fa and offering people salvation with benevolence." Practitioners improved and matured rapidly. The fear of promoting the Fa in the streets disappeared very naturally. They were proud to wear the yellow T-shirts and had bright smiles on their faces as they distributed materials to passers-by and the police . They were able to answer people's questions and explain the truth of the situation. They said: "Now we truly realize the importance of promoting the Fa and treating the task of promoting the Fa as part of our cultivation from the heart." Some practitioners said: "I can feel our xinxing has taken a big step."
Michele and Mark have been translating Zhuan Falun into Danish. Now they are discussing how to use the promotional materials from the United States to improve theirs in Danish.
Paul, an elderly retired man was the first Western practitioner. After a year of cultivating Dafa, he personally felt Master's kindness and benevolence. A huge change came over him. His gray hair became a deep brown and his pale skin became rosy with his improved health. His spirit, mind, and body have undergone a complete change. Since the Chinese government cracked down on Falun Gong, he worried and grieved over the unfair treatment and brutal persecution of the practitioners in China. During the last tumultuous year, he silently took on a lot of work to explain the truth of Falun Dafa to all kinds of people. Now he is considering making another petition and sending information about Falun Dafa to the media and official circles.
The Westerner Danish practitioners realized that attending international Falun Dafa activities could enrich their cultivation environment and bridge the gap between practitioners from different countries. Experience-sharing with the practitioners from other countries enhanced their determination to strive forward more vigorously. They said: "Traveling to New York began a new phase in our cultivation and promotion of the Fa."
