The 13th Section of the Beijing Police Bureau dispatched three buses for a recent outing . As they neared their destination, the first two buses noticed the third one was missing. The bus in the front turned back to look for the missing one. The missing bus had hit a tree, causing one casualty and many injuries. Suspecting someone might have planned the accident, this bus retraced the route taken by the one in the accident, but couldn't find anything suspicious. To make things worse, this bus turned over, on the way back, in a ditch near the road, causing one more casualty and many more injuries.. How come there were so many coincidences? All adversity is caused by the bad deeds of human beings. Sow the wind and reap the whirlwind! This is the universal principle.
It is said that the 13th Section of the Beijing Police Bureau has arrested tens of thousands of innocent Falun Dafa practitioners. They have been involved in numerous cases of physical abuse, violence and torture to innocent Falun Dafa practitioners. The good will be rewarded and the bad will be punished. "The wicked ones who are at the most superficial level, that of humankind, will soon have to pay for all of their sins as they themselves are being completely eliminated during the Fa's rectification of the human world." (Teacher's recent article "Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)). It is the most horrendous sin, which will never be pardoned, to persecute the cultivators of an orthodox Fa. I hope the policemen of conscience will learn a lesson from this.

[Mainland China] Wang Xiaosong, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Chengdu, Sichuan Province, was sentenced to three years' in prison. Wang Xiaosong is a driver of the county education services. He was arrested when walking on the street in December 1999 for making a trip to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. Wang Xiaosong was sentenced to three years' imprisonment on September 26, 2000. He and his entire family, highly respected in the local area, all practiced Falun Dafa.
Lei Shifu, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jinfu village, Jiangjin, Chongqing province was sentenced to one-year labor education in late July. She is now serving the term in Chongqing North River Women's Labor Camp.
[Mainland China] He Qianggu (female), a practitioner from Changsha, Hunan province, was confined in Changsha Mental Hospital for not renouncing Falun Dafa. When He Qianggu was in the Mental Hospital, she suffered inhumane torture, was forced to take medications and injections. This is the second time she was sent to a mental hospital. The first was when she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa on December 18, 1999. She was arrested in Beijing, sent back to local police and then tortured in the mental hospital for three months. He Qianggu didn't pass the test the first time. She signed the "Guarantee Letter". She requested a withdrawal of her renunciation from her workplace this August. She has been detained since.

I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. I was sentenced to Shuanghe Labor Camp in Qiqihar City, Helongjing Province because I went to Beijing to appeal. I have seen and heard many horrible torture activities here. I will repeat some of them.
Every new Falun Dafa practitioner is first detained and isolated in a "special cell" for self-examination and guarded by criminals. Those criminals told practitioners that if they did Falun Gong exercises, the prisoners would be punished by having their prison terms extended. If the criminals could persuade us to write pledges (pledging not to practice Falun Gong), they would get their terms reduced. If they could make a Dafa practitioner renounce Dafa, they would get their term shortened even more. A practitioner named Wang Hongzhou, 52 years old, was detained in a "special cell" because she did not write a pledge when she was brought into the labor camp. In order to force her to write a pledge, the criminals punished her physically everyday by beating and cursing her. She was forced to recite 65 rules of ministry orders, and punished to stand for several hours and cursed with dirty words if she spoke a wrong word. She was shocked with an electric baton because she wanted to practice the Falun Gong exercises. She was handcuffed from behind to the pole of a bed frame with her head almost touching the ground for over ten hours each time. Her hands and arms became numb. Her mouth was sealed with adhesive tape. The noise from policeman slapping her face could be heard several rooms away. Because of her hunger strike, she was force-fed through her nose. Other practitioners also experienced similar torture. Policeman said that the central government made the decision and that it was useless if we appealed.
A practitioner named Kong Xiangli, 35 years old, was handcuffed for 18 days because she wanted to practice Falun Gong exercises. During that period, she was not allowed to sleep for 3 days and guarded by a criminal, who beat and cursed her. One time, because of practicing the exercises, she was brutally beaten and handcuffed to the pole of a bed frame in a squatting position. If she did not withstand this posture, she was beaten, cursed and kicked. During this period, she protested with a hunger strike and was force-fed with corn gruel every two or three days. During force-feeding, policemen and the labor camp director beat her. They also said that they have many means to torture the practitioners and even if practitioners died they can just fill in a form to submit to the higher authorities without taking any responsibility. They claimed that they wanted to treat her in a humanitarian way, but their humanitarian way is just like a fascist's cruel torture.
Jin Chunxian, 59 years old, was cruelly beaten by criminal inmates many times. One time she practiced the exercises in the yard, several criminals rushed at her like vicious wolves. Her arms and legs were grabbed by four of the criminals. Her clothes and trousers were torn. An electronic baton shocked her. After the cruel beating, she was tied with ropes and cuffed to the pole of a bed frame, squatting down with her mouth sealed with adhesive tape for 8 to 9 hours. Her fingers were swollen beyond recognition and she lost consciousness. On April 8, 2000, because of practicing the exercise, she was tied to the bed with both hands tied with rope above her head. Because she recited "Lunyu", her mouth was sealed with adhesive tape and she was shocked with an electric baton. This occurred while she was on a hunger strike. After being beaten and kicked, she was hung for one day and force-fed through her nose, causing her nose to hemorrhage. Even while she was on a hunger strike, she was forced to do hard labor. Another practitioner named Wang Guofang was cuffed to the ground with the back of her body facing up because of practicing the exercises. For several nights, the cruelest torture was to remove all her clothes to let the numerous mosquitoes bite her. She was still not released even after being tortured like this for over 20 days.
Yao Yuming was sent to the labor camp for 3 days, because of practicing the exercises. At midnight she was pulled to the ground by a criminal, who pulled her hair and beat her while dragging her. She was handcuffed to the door handle while bleeding and traumatized with electric shocks.
These kinds of torture occur every day. For the criminals, if they treat Falun Gong practitioners cruelly, they will get their sentences reduced. Right now, there are many Falun Gong practitioners here, some did not go to Beijing but were still sent to the labor camp just for admitting they practiced Falun Gong. There is no freedom of speech here; otherwise one will get their sentence increased by three-months under the charge of agitation. The term is extended for three months if one practices Falun Gong exercise one time. There are many rules for extending sentences. Policemen threaten: "if you are not afraid, what are we afraid of? We just fill in a form for you to stay 3 months more in the labor camp. There is nothing for us to lose and a little more "cooking-pot cleaning water" should be enough to keep you fed."
Now the terms of the Falun Gong practitioners are near an end. But if practitioners do not write the pledge renouncing and criticizing Falun Gong, they will not be released. It is said that this is the policy of the "high-level authority". Is the "high-level authority" Jiang Zemin or Luo Gan?

The atrocity of the evil force in Wenjiang County, Sichuan Province
The government offices actually do not have the function of a "dictatorship". However, in accordance with the intention of the County government, every village and town government in Wenjiang County, Sichuan Province often assembles Dafa practitioners and detains them by force in their local area. There have already been two countywide mass arrests and detentions of practitioners this year. The measures used to persecute practitioners have been escalating. Take the incident at the end of June as an example: The whole county took action at the same time, taking practitioners from their homes and fields, waking practitioners up in the middle of the night and forcefully assembling them for "converting". Please take a look at how these evil people convert Falun Dafa practitioners. When practitioners were brought there, without any initial inquiry, practitioners were all lashed with leather-thonged whips made of double-twisted electric cables. After that, practitioners were asked:" Do you still want to practice Falun Dafa?" If the answers were yes, practitioners would be beaten again. Practitioners were being "converted" individually. If there was not enough home-made instruments of torture, brooms, bamboo poles, wood clubs, or tongs used for picking coal cinders were used instead. Kicking with leather boots, slapping the face, pulling hair, punching, banging practitioners' heads against the wall, etc. The atrocity was too horrendous to be exposed to the public. All this violence was covertly committed without being witnessed by third parties. Bloodstains on clothes would be washed right away.
Other measures of torture include suffocation, and stomping on hands or feet with leather boots until the skin is lacerated. Practitioners that lost consciousness after repeated beatings would be revived with cold water. A 64-year-old Dafa practitioner was slammed onto the concrete Ping-Pong table with his face down. One of the thugs sat on his head, one held his hands and feet, and another one beat the practitioner with a leather-thonged whip, mercilessly. The skin and flesh of the practitioner's buttocks were lacerated and bleeding. (The blood still oozed for more than 10 days after the beating and the practitioner could not sit.) Practitioners who lost consciousness would be thrown into the staircase as a completed task to be reported to the local authority. Nobody cared if the practitioners were still alive or not. If questioned, these thugs would reply " The higher authorities have given us permission to claim the death as a suicide." It is the support from the higher authorities that makes these thugs dare to brazenly commit murder. One of the thugs disclosed that the head of the security army in town named Li Zucheng personally assigned tasks to these thugs:" Pull them to the dark corners and beat them to death!" The outrageous atrocity is exactly what is being implemented in accordance to the "direction" of a recent meeting of the public security ministry in late June. In that meeting, Xiancheng Duan, deputy director of the public security assigned the tasks: " We must make them renounce Falun Gong by all means and measures." -- This is the real purpose of all their atrocities.
What Dafa practitioners adhere to is the truth of the universe. The purpose of the evil force is to undermine. Therefore, the beatings of the practitioners are not limited to just once or twice. Other than beatings, practitioners being deprived of sleep also suffered from excessive exposure to the sun and rain. Some thugs also forced practitioners to stand long hours in the sun barefoot in a squatting position. The thugs also made practitioners move their feet constantly on sun heated pavement in order to have their become feet burned with blisters. There are beatings and physical punishment during the day and the thugs prohibit practitioners resting at night, usually, practitioners are punished by being forced to stand (There are many hired thugs, so they can take turns to watch the practitioners). A practitioner was handcuffed to a tree for 3 consecutive nights and was bitten by swarms of mosquitoes. Another female practitioner in her 50s was beaten, forced to kneel down and interrogated for two days and nights without any break. The food brought by her relatives was taken away by force and she did not have food for 8 days. Thugs also use stinging nettle (note: a type of plant with fine thorns that sting when come in contact with the skin causing severe itch and pain, for several hours) to irritate practitioners' faces, hands, feet and other parts of the body that are uncovered. The thugs also forced practitioners to rub nettle on their own bodies, pushed the practitioners into the thickets of nettle and prohibited them from coming out. The thugs are reallyinhuman!
There are on average 10 hired thugs in every small town, some places have about 20 hired thugs comprised of local workers, members from people's militia, security guards of the enterprises and local government offices (Among them, Li Cheng and Wang Mingsong are the most vicious). Some local officials like Hu Dongxiang and Li Zucheng, etc also come out to beat practitioners. When practitioners said they will sue for their " illegal beating", the thugs replied:" There is no place for you to sue!" A practitioner went to see the committee member of the County Public Security whose surname is Ma regarding the illegal beatings by the government officials and told Ma: "Wounds are still over all my body." But, Ma said: " They did not beat you!" Ma also said "I don't want to see your wounds!" A person by the name of Huang Hongshi said even more shamelessly:" What law, there is no damned law!" During one year, there are more than 130 practitioners illegally detained by the local government, among them, one third of the practitioners have been detained more than 2 times. There are more than 170 practitioners who have been detained by public security, among them, one fourth of the practitioners have been detained more than 2 times.
One practitioner named Zhang Liuqing is 50 years old. Both the public security department and the local town government have detained Zhang, five times for a total of 118 days. Also, more than 30 practitioners' homes have been ransacked by the public security and local town government and some have been ransacked more than once, one 4 times. There are more than 120 practitioners who have been fined for not renouncing Falun Gong with the total amount exceeding 400,000 RMB ($50,000, about 67 years of average annual salary in China). Those who could not afford to pay the fine were asked to write an IOU signed in acknowledgement of the debt. The thugs came to the practitioners' homes and threatened them to pay the fine. If practitioners have no cash to pay, their real estate title will be withheld, home electrical appliances, furniture, and vehicles will be taken away. For those families whose financial conditions were not good, the thugs took away the grain rations, pigs, crops and other items. We all know that all the family members in the family jointly own the property of the family. The confiscation of the practitioners' properties to force them to quit their practice is already illegal; the confiscation of the practitioners' properties, which belong to the other members in the family, is even more severe. The "People's Daily" published an article denying such things but on the other hand, here the local government is drafting a law to fine practitioners. Also, more than 10 practitioners who refused to renounce Falun Dafa have had their pensions suspended and were dismissed from Communist Party.
