Dear Mother and fellow practitioners,
Heshi! Over a hundred and thirty Dafa practitioners Heshi to you, and hope that you can, under the guidance of the Teacher's Fa, walk the most meaningful step in human life. At the present time, the environment here has changed from being extremely vicious to being peaceful and calm. During the gradual formation of this favorable environment, many practitioners have indeed sacrificed a great deal--one practitioner was even driven to a complete mental breakdown. To date, practitioners who have protested the forced labor cannot communicate with or have visits from their family members, have had their detention times extended, and have lost all personal freedom under the tight watch of the camp monitors. Although they have been subjected to this treatment for a long time and cannot even touch a piece of paper, they have nevertheless managed to memorize all the new articles from Teacher. It is indeed a miracle.
The women in the camp are using their wisdom to learn the Fa and intelligently face all tests. In front of various kinds of tests, some of which are extremely devious and not easy to identify, they can quickly recognize the nature of the tests. From publicly practicing the exercises before, announcing: "Falun Dafa is righteous", to the current action of clarifying the truth using wisdom, they have never used radical words or actions. Every cultivation process is marked with solid steps.
By the time I arrived at the camp, Ms. Kong Huijuan had been transferred to Baoding City. However, her words and deeds still shone with a pure and righteous flame. She was quiet but determined and strong. One day when a broadcaster was saying Dafa is an "evil xx", she dashed into the broadcast room, took the microphone, and loudly declared: "Falun Dafa is not an evil xx!" Because of this, her sentence was increased by six months. Huang Wei went on a hunger strike. During this time, she was force-fed using a plastic pipe. When she made hand-written copies of Teacher's new articles, her sentences at the labor camp were increased by three months. Practitioners in the City of Shijiazhuang were deeply moved by her words and deeds.
At the Shijiazhuang Women's labor camp, almost all practitioners have been on a hunger strike for more than twenty days. Some of them lost consciousness when fed through a plastic pipe that was forced into their stomachs. They experienced beatings by team leaders and monitors. They were struck with electric batons while being forced to stand for long periods of time in front of a wall. For their actions in validating Dafa, they have suffered a great deal, and they are able to let go of any concern for life and death. It is said that the few people who were released because they wrote articles that criticized Falun Dafa are all repenting deeply. They realized that they were wrong and their mistakes have caused negative effects on Dafa.
Ms. Gu Lingna is still being held at the Second Prison in Shijiazhuang City. Her trial is underway, but is being held in secret. To insist upon our release without any charges against us, many of us refused to work . Some time ago, our room was searched and Dafa articles were found. Because these articles were found in our unit, camp officials declared that they would not reduce sentences for other types of prisoners in our unit. In this place, other prisoners greatly desire to have their sentences reduced as much as possible. Out of each month, there is a quota of three to six days that can be allocated for reducing jail terms. No one wants to be released one day longer than necessary. In order not to affect other prisoners, nine Dafa practitioners in our unit willingly gave up their share of the reduction quota. There is one practitioner in the second brigade who will reach the one-year term of her sentence by the end of October. However, according to the instructions from prison superiors, she cannot be released because she refuses to write a guarantee that she will not practice Falun Gong and will not appeal to the government to rescind the ban on the Falun Dafa practice. This practitioner does not complain and does not express any regret. I have heard that many practitioners and their family members have gone to Beijing to appeal to the government to release Dafa practitioners unconditionally without any charges against them.
If the prison brigade insists on not allowing the reduction of practitioners' prison terms, we will refuse to work. Consequently, I may not be able to see you, but I hope that you can understand your daughter. I am worried about you. You are practitioners and were born into the time of the spreading of Falun Dafa, but you have not taken solid steps in validating Dafa. You should indeed do things well that you were supposed to do, and do not add any flames to the evil fire. Your loved ones are waiting for you, and expecting you to be able to validate Dafa while spending more time reading Dafa books and studying Dafa. We all try to be enlightened in the Fa. Being afraid to bother others is also an attachment. We are now being watched 24 hours a day. It is time to put down attachments for fame, profit, sentiment, personal conceptions, and last attachments. I think that conceptions and excuses about age etc. are not the inborn pure true self. We did not separate ourselves from relatives; instead, we are even closer to our relatives. If we can pass large tribulations and tests together and overcome small tribulations and tests on our own, nothing can stop our determination to cultivate. If we can use all means to validate the correctness of Dafa, I think the evil forces will disappear.
When faced with questions from Buddhas, Taos, and Deities in heaven about our cultivation processes, those of us who achieve the Right Fruit Status can reply with confidence. Since I came here, I feel even more strongly the compassion of the Dafa and the Teacher, and the energy field of the righteous mind of the practitioners. I can understand another level of meaning in the articles and books of our Teacher. The several new articles by the Teacher have already clearly told us what to do and how to eliminate disturbances. We now understand even more deeply the words by our Teacher: "Opportunity knocks but once. Only when the illusion you hold on to has gone will you come to realize what you have lost."
I appeal to my mother and fellow practitioners to please help us advance together and follow our Teacher home.

Going Back Home - A Few Random Thoughts of Mine
The ship that has been stranded for so long,
Has finally set sail in an angry sea between high cliffs.
Seeing the eagerly-waiting faces of our loved ones on the other side of the cliff,
We try to throw away heavy burdens, and bring on a gentle breeze,
Bravely we face trials and tribulations and fulfill our solemn promise with our lives,
Just so that the truth of the universe will be seen by all on the Earth -
The great laws of the universe will appear among us, and
It will shine with its pure and benevolent radiance again.
We keep rowing and rowing, overcoming obstacles, and leaping over barriers,
Now finally we have found our way back to our true home.
We only have one hope remaining; our deepest hope is that all the members of our family -
All the great Falun Dafa practitioners will be able to join us on the way home.
