Thank you for your message about the situation facing the Falun Gong practitioners in China. I appreciate your views and interest in my position.

The challenges faced by Falun Dafa practitioners are of great concern to Americans who value our religious freedom. I am staunchly committed to the principles of religious freedom, tolerance and diversity as they are embodied in the First Amendment. And that is why, if I am fortunate enough to be elected President, I will support policies - both domestic and international - which promote a respect for individuals from all faiths, all backgrounds and all walks of life.
