Compared to other regions, Russian practitioners are late in starting the effort to clarify the truth regarding Falun Gong to people in the world. It was partly because at the beginning we were very isolated from outside information. In addition, many human thoughts were also in the way. Yet after all, the process of rectifying the Fa has come this far, and after reading the article "Serious Teachings", practitioners could no longer sit on the sidelines. We let go of our human thinking, stepped out of the mindset of individual cultivation practice, and started to "validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence." Russian practitioners have stepped forward. In both Chinese and Russian, flyers revealing the true facts of the persecution against Falun Dafa are already all over Russia. Every practitioner is trying his best to let the people know the truth.
Practitioners from Pittsburgh are more mature with a deeper understanding of Dafa. One after another, they have visited and sent documents to various consulates, government authorities of Pittsburgh, and media agencies. They have also distributed materials to supermarkets, schools as well as tourist spots where many Chinese people tend to visit. In addition, the practitioners brought the materials with them to Moscow and shared their experience with fellow practitioners there. Together they visited many government offices including the Office of President, Prime Minister, the Duma, Foreign Ministry, and News Publishing Houses to give the documents telling the truth about Falun Gong. During the period of stepping forward, everyone has felt deeply that the process of validating the Fa via various means and letting people know the true facts is the process by which human concepts are eliminated, melting oneself into the Fa, and gradually cultivating oneself to be a defender of the grand Fa of the universe. The thought of proactively defending the Fa has been strengthened. One day, Andre, a Dafa practitioner, ran into a Chinese delegation in the subway. He felt it was a rare opportunity for him to promote the Fa and clarify the true facts about Falun Dafa with them. Yet he didn't have any Chinese materials with him; neither did he speak Chinese. What to do? He suddenly had an inspiration. He took his Dafa book out of his bag. The book had four very eye-catching characters of "Falun Dafa." Facing these Chinese, he raised the book high and above. He saw that these people there were very surprised and discussing among themselves. Even thought he didn't know the language, but he understood what they were saying. He pointed to the book and said "Good!" He saw some people nodding and some dumbfounded. Andre was happy that he could validate Dafa in such a unique way.
Nicholas of City E is a relatively new practitioner. Yet, he improved rapidly in the Fa, and has a strong will to promote and defend the Fa. Even though at the beginning this city only had three practitioners, they combined the activities of promoting the Fa and clarifying truth together, and had a very successful 9-day seminar. The Minghui/Clearwisdom net published the article of "Jiang Zemin Cannot Shirk Off the Historical Responsibility". Nicholas distributed more than 1,000 copies into the hands of the Chinese people in one day, which caused quite a stir. Najia is a very astute practitioner. She made the best use of all the fax numbers of the big Chinese companies that she has been collecting for years. Over night, "Jiang Zemin Cannot Shirk Off the Historical Responsibility" was spread to the entire city. Washa clipped addresses of various companies off newspapers and mailed Dafa materials to them. They used all kinds of methods. In a remote city, a family of three practices Falun Dafa. Leveraging on their jobs with a supermarket, they frequently download articles from the web and distribute those to people there. Out of concern for them, someone asked: "This is banned in China. Are you afraid that you are bringing trouble to yourselves?" They smiled and replied: " What we distributed are materials revealing the truth. What we tell are facts, and what we do is the most upright thing. What are we afraid of?"
Leena of City M lost her job due to a serious illness. As none of the medication and treatments were effective, she started to seek Chinese qigong. She spent quite a lot of money; yet it didn't work either. A year ago, when she was practicing a different exercise, all of sudden, a round and beaming object appeared in front of her eyes. Shortly after, she saw the book of Falun Dafa in a bookstore. When she opened the book and saw the Falun, she was shocked: "Isn't this what I saw that was beaming?" She instantly understood this was what she was looking for. She read the book eagerly, and went to the practice site rain or shine. She witnessed herself becoming healthier and healthier. Even her energy level was improved. The facts educated her whole family. Now, her husband, her son and their neighbors are all studying the book. When she understood cultivation of Dafa doesn't only benefit one's self alone, and that she should come out and clarify the true facts to all people while Teacher is being slandered, she went to the Office of Prime Minister by herself. The humble Leena said: "At the beginning, I was indeed a little nervous. My xinxing was not high, and that was the first time in my entire life that I visited such a high-level government office. When I saw the person who received me was so friendly, I calmed down right away. I told them my real feelings. They gladly accepted the materials and recorded the event." Eureka, a quiet girl, often using the weekends and holidays to distribute materials with fellow practitioners. This time, she again distributed materials to the National Duma.
Three generations of the Anzhaila family in Pittsburgh practice Falun Dafa. Real experiences have made the family devote their entire energy to Dafa. The mother once went back to her hometown in Biejie city in the Caucasus to spread the Fa, which is thousands of miles away. She established a practice site there. The father already visited all the satellite cities of Pittsburgh. Now he is visiting Belarus to spread the Fa. On the day Russian practitioners decided to submit a letter of appeal together with the materials clarifying the truth to President Pujin, Anzhaila took the overnight train and rushed to Moscow from Pittsburgh. In spite of his tiredness, he went straight to the receptionist room for the Office of the President. Practitioners' sincerity touched the people in the reception area. They made an exception to the rule, which stated the Office could only accept information on video one month after receiving a letter and written documents.
We know what we have done is very mediocre, and that we are far from the requirement of Dafa and that of our Teacher. We will try our best to do it well.
