Falun Gong in the Eyes of the People Who Know the Facts

A few days ago, I was invited to a friend's small party where I met three young ladies in their 20's and two gentlemen in their 30's. Some were college students, employees of companies, and one is the owner of a business.

When we were chatting, the topic changed to Jiang Zemin and his followers' persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. I told them that I was a Falun Gong practitioner. To my surprise, they were so happy and excited to hear that. The owner of a private company told me that he listened to Radio Free Asia and Voice of America all the time about the Falun Gong issue. He said that he admired the Falun Gong practitioners. He was very impressed by the practitioners who appeal for truth at the risk of losing their lives. After they heard my experiences of being tortured and suppressed when I went to Beijing to appeal, they became very angry at what the authorities did to me. They also gave me a telephone number to Radio Free Asia and said that I could call the radio station to speak about my experiences. When I told them that I might go to Beijing to appeal again, they immediately told me to be cautious and not to be caught by the police. They regard Falun Gong practitioners as the heroes of China and the hope of the future of the Chinese Nation, because Falun Gong practitioners can sacrifice everything for upholding justice and truth. Of course, being a practitioner, I have never thought about becoming a hero. For those who know the facts about Falun Gong, practitioners have given them such a glorious image.

In the end, they suggested to cheer for what Teacher Li Hongzhi has done. They also offered to help in distributing materials that tell the truth about Falun Dafa to the public. I was especially moved by the words of a young female student. She said, "If all people knew the facts about Falun Gong and supported you, I think the government would not have dared to treat Falun Gong like this." This made me understand more about the importance and urgency of telling the truth about Falun Gong to the people who are deceived by Jiang's evil propaganda.
